Yeah the design is tough but One Piece is one of the only shonen series that passes the Bechdel test, and Nami is one of the most solid, well written female characters in shonen. Her being drawn the way she is gets her dismissed way too easily. It's sad.

Shockingly, making the reward for doing the game good a shot of a sexy girl isn't exactly the best for reinforcing strong women.
If anything, I like the later games where it's still showing some sex appeal, it's still more respectful to her as a character. Samus is great.
