@Marco4J @WG_RumblePants Watched a game there a few years ago. The slope down towards the pub is pronounced and it is a short boundary! It's a beautiful spot to watch a game though.

@Glossywicket The only thing that will stop this is another tournament popping up elsewhere around the globe at a similar time that will catch the eye of the small cohort of players that now dominate franchise leagues.

Seriously considering not renewing my membership in light of this.
James Vince is one of six English players with PSL deals. Expecting him to go white-ball only with Hampshire this season, which is a blow to Hants and the comp, but probably an acceptable cost from ECB perspective with new policy around overseas leagues

I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw this email from @ECB_cricket saying they can’t support the 50+ comp any longer. Pathetic really in the grand scheme of things! @BumbleCricket @Phil_Wisden @CountiesEngland
