Thank you so much @GaryWaldrom for the wonderful portrait of my late Dad, Terry. You have captured him perfectly. His strength, his charm and his sense of fun. Last night Gary delivered the painting and when I saw it, it took my breath away. Brilliant, just brilliant.

This country is proper screwed. Mum who retired this year at 79. She’s worked since she was 16, paid her dues week in week out. How do we repay such citizens - an extra 25p a week. It’s bloody insulting sending a letter like that to a woman like my mother. Pathetic!

It isn’t because they don’t have a plan B. It appears they are crudely dumping vets cricket. I’m not sure if the letter is naive or arrogant?
