@Loranza80
hey there
it can overlay on anything - if you start a screen record on your mac with CMD+Shift+5 on your keyboard you can draw whilst its recording
@adamrunner1
We built one in development- chip gets super hot even with our aluminium heat sink
it also drew too much power so became a brightness/refresh rate trade-off due to power output limits from most laptops.
What use case do you want it for?
@CharleyPangusYT
Awesome. We'd love to have you on board with espresso. Many producers and content professionals use our displays in their studio setups. We're trusted by people who rely on their displays to perform.
@kashweet
It absolutely can! Many of our customers use our displays to help maximise the potential of their presentations - virtual and in-person - while using the display and touchscreen functions. Conference calls are a big use case!
@sahabedi
you can have more than one if you have multiple ports on your laptop that can carry video.
If you only have two ports you can connect your laptop charger to the second port on the display to do power passthrough
@AsgfStudios
Agree! But sometimes you want to get an idea out of your head that is outside of the 26 letters on your keyboard like a quick sketch or diagram ✍️
@BorutPlohl
We have a 13-inch non touch model available now. We have found that once people start using touch with an espresso, they lean in and use it more.
@pixelgirl
The big ass magnet is only in the stand not the display - what kind of hard drive are you running? an SSD or the old school ones with the spinny discs inside?
@GhettoStartup
We have many thousands of customers that use our displays to set up a multi-screen workstation anywhere. It's about versatility and freedom to work at your best anywhere.
@MetaThought100
proud to be doing consumer electronics from AU 🇦🇺
With the espressoCreator the display looks more matte and doubles as a paperlike screen protector making it great to draw/write on.
a slight impact to the display because you now have a layover over it but worth it for some
@kilianhekhuis
@PaulFelixKelly
Can’t see the original comment but thats right mostly drawing apps - but we see use for a quick note for feedback on a CAD drawing, PDF, doc, table, mindmap, notetaking app, whiteboard app.
these were all either print out paper and markup or just limited to typing previously
@benroethig
Thank you. We have worked hard to break new ground with product design and respond to the needs we saw among the customers and users we spoke with. Right now, we have a espresso 13 and 15 (which are great options), and 17 Pro - which is our latest offering.
@RowanFN
Thank you - we have worked hard to deliver what we feel is the best portable creative and productivity tool available for pro-grade use. Please contact

if you want to chat about anything specific about your use case. 😃
@Dale789Elliott
It's connected via one single USB-C cable (that carries video, data and power). However, we also sell cables for various setups and additional power if required.
@HoL_ism
It's a portable touchscreen display so it uses a host device via a single USB-C. For example; plug into your laptop and you have a portable workstation you can setup anywhere in seconds.
@SimonPeterHunt
Thanks for sharing - glad you've had a good experience with the asus going over 10 years thats decent
where espresso differs is in aluminium build quality that matches your Mac, a touch for mac experience that we've built ontop of with jot, and our display quality in our new pro
@fabiogelbcke
Thanks
@fabiogelbcke
- we'll look into that on our side. We work incredibly hard to deliver the best experience in a portable touchscreen display. We have many third-party reviews that rate our products highly. Our team is also very passionate about helping our customers along
@BenjaminRMarcus
Yes - we have CAD designers and Adobe users who utilise our displays. If you want to have a chat or have specific questions, please DM our team

@willg12
What OS are you running?
Screen and touch should work with windows without software - screen should work with Mac without software but yes the software we build connects our hardware to MacOS giving touch functionality
@ybetulyilmaz
We hear it quite a bit from iPad users so we built a dedicated device with the added benefit that it works with other devices like Windows/gaming devices.
Also upgrades mac functionality with jot
@waldbach_id
We hear that all the time but it’s still the most asked question of why not just use an iPad. $/sq inch of screen doesn’t make sense for a second monitor
