The mammoth problem for society is that childhood trauma, antisocial behaviour, psychopathy, and addiction, are all variably intertwined.
There is no optimum line between empathy, understanding, expectations, punishment, and risk containment.
@RESPECT_OZ
This is what happens when you chuck a self-righteous tanty about something that a sponsor’s dad said 40 years ago. Everyone is sick of these virtue signalling narcissists and their coercive control. Well done Gina.
@ElijahSchaffer
I’m an Aussie, and this is too true. We often hide our talents and self-deprecate, to avoid envy and hostility. If you make something great, you become a target. If you show initiative and it undermines someone’s ego, you become a target.
@9NewsMelb
@IzaStaskowski
A woman was tackled by police the other day for holding up a sign at Albo, but these entitled narcissists can block traffic for everyone else and there’s little response? How about that pregnant woman who was arrested in her home for a Facebook post..
@DavidPocock
Go speak to staff in Alice Springs hospital about how common it is to see multiple STIs in indigenous children 8-9 years old. This is extremely rare in metropolitan hospitals.
@SenKatyG
If so then where was Labor for the last 18 months? Running around talking about the voice. Ramming it down our throats. Endlessly guilt-tripping everyday Australians. Enlisting celebrities. Schmoozing with Qantas. Calling us chicken littles. Don’t try to take the high ground now.
@SkyNewsAust
@MLCGame
they are certainly keeping you busy, can you please hold them accountable for this? South Australians are tired of having their culture and traditions attacked. Nothing is sacred.
@CKellyUAP
As a taxpayer I’m super annoyed the government wastes our money on work like this. The universities are a joke now, just like ABC and the rest of it.
@9NewsMelb
@9NewsAUS
Inevitably there will be charges for ambiguous gestures and it will be a mess. It should be social pressure that regulates these things, not gesture police.
@SkyNewsAust
Albanese is 12 months in, that’s 12 months of listening he could have been doing. Without the need for a poorly worded constitutional alteration.
@jeff_kennett
In the minds of Australians, who have seen him do nothing but faff around for 18 months, he has not earned a break. It is fair for people to vent their anger at seeing him faff around some more.
@RositaDaz48
How about corporate Australia stops hitting the nerves of an already demoralised citizenship? How about Albanese shows some leadership and national pride?
New Zealanders should be SO ashamed and SO embarrassed by this immaturity and savagery, not to mention the subsequent gaslighting. What a disgrace it was.
“Love and affirmation”
I was there. Right up the front where all the violence happened. If they would’ve succeeded in getting Kellie-Jay on the ground they wouldn’t have stopped. The mob was rabid.
@NZGreens
needs to take responsibility for the violence they justified.

It baffles me that managers of these apolitical organisations, e.g. rugby, think it’s a good idea to enter into political dialogue.
The staff at rugby union are not going to be in 100% agreement on everything, and a brand can’t have an opinion. So whose opinion is this really?
@Mon4Kooyong
Alternatively stop wasting our tax money on fraudulent welfare programs and infinite layers of bureaucracy. Australians should be able to keep much more of what they earn than they do. It’s time for government austerity, not increased taxation.
@SkyNewsAust
A third of complaints to eSafety commission are from Twitter; this doesn’t mean that the complaints are reasonable or that the content was hateful.
@CaldronPool
How dare she talk about “threats to the norms we all value” as though those norms haven’t been obliterated over and over again, by the likes of her own ideology, for the past decade.
@VoteLewko
- Single parent families
- Boys being told they are inherently toxic
- Boisterous behaviour treated with amphetamine “medication”
- Dopamine burnout from YouTube and TikTok
- Drag queens in their libraries
@abcnews
Is the conflict of interest here not blaringly obvious? The surgeons want to legitimise surgical gender transition. Just like the psychiatrists legitimise ADHD over-diagnosis.
@SharriMarkson
Who the hell does
@MarkDreyfusKCMP
think he is? This entitled, rude, arrogant behaviour is totally out of line. This journalist was doing her job, and good on her.
@9NewsAUS
RBA pays the banks interest on the billions banks have deposited with RBA (Covid stimulus). Banks aren’t borrowing from the RBA like in the past. So when RBA puts cash rate up, they’re effectively giving the banks more public money… isn’t that inflationary?
@SkyNewsAust
If you haven’t seen video of this then please watch, it really was shameful behaviour. This journalist was doing her job, and good on her.
@MarkDreyfusKCMP
should formally apologise.
Disgraceful behaviour from
@MarkDreyfusKCMP
. Talking down to, and shouting at young women in the Press Gallery is totally inappropriate. I note he didn't act this way to any of the men asking questions. He should apologise immediately.
@ClareONeilMP
we can't just "move on here".
@PaulineHansonOz
I can say first-hand that this is accurate. While NDIS does have its success stories, and has turned lives around, there are outrageous levels of fraud and it funds a lot of very expensive, low-value services.
@theprojecttv
Marriage is pro-woman. It guarantees support and dignity to balance the sacrifices women make when they have children. It promotes a stable environment for children. It creates responsibility and meaning for men. The alternative is empty hedonism. Your choice.
@joel_schectman
@aaronsibarium
It’s a narcissistic sense of self, whereby the individual expects the world to mould itself according to their whims. If the world refuses to budge (that is when the whim is incompatible with reality) then the individual experiences that as “oppression”.
@LCHF_Matt
Many people are severely demoralised and feel they live in a society that hates them. No altruistic impulse to serve community will arise from, e.g, anti-patriotism every Australia Day; or the unrelenting toxic masculinity / racial identity agenda of ABC, etc.
@9NewsMelb
@reid_butler9
Regular reminder that this has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with the ego needs of antagonistic narcissist ‘activists’.
Climate rubbish is just their excuse to antagonise you! They *love* the angry response.

Shameful behaviour
@MarkDreyfusKCMP
, we live in a democracy and it is the duty of journalists to hold elected officials to account. You do not need to admire her questions, but you have absolutely no right to scold her so rudely and arrogantly. Who do you think you are?
@motrsprtfann
We reward people based on their signalled virtue, rather than their merit. The vast bulk of normal people are sick of it and deeply demoralised by all the antics.

Lack of searches for “broken promise” does not indicate a proportionately lower interest in political integrity.. no one needs to search this term to make up their minds.
@KosSamaras
NDIS is failed policy. It is wasteful and does not do well to deliver value to its participants. NDIS providers have a perverse financial interest in the ongoing disability of their clients. It has surpassed Medicare in annual cost.
@KonstantinKisin
I remember the awe I felt before going to university. Once I was there I realised PhDs are a scam and the ‘intellectuals’ are generally weak egos +/- Peter Pan syndrome. I wonder if intellectuals were always like this, or if the founders were different?
