Catholic Derangement Syndrome is far more common. A general unfamiliarity with scripture, and will grasp at straws to prove Catholicism. Mat24"For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
Zeitoun Derangement Syndrome (ZDS) – noun A rare but serious mental affliction affecting certain Protestants when confronted with the Marian apparitions at Zeitoun. Symptoms include reflexively blaming demons (despite numerous documented healings), insisting thousands of Egyptians were all lying, and reducing detailed eyewitness descriptions to “just a vague light.” In advanced stages, sufferers may insist with absolute confidence that the evidence is incredibly weak—despite having read none of the readily available literature themselves. There is no known cure, though some relief has been reported among sufferers who accidentally read the actual historical records.

@DTennies2 @CapturingChrist Yes I'd say he could. Including working miracles. Mt 24:24: For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

@JeetusM @DeeWaynee94 No, the Christian God acknowledged that the Isrealites had worshipped other God's, not that they actually existed.

@rory_donaghy @rtenews The Nazis introduced horrors at an industrial scale, the likes of which had never been seen before. But what is your point? Because Ireland has been oppressed before it's fine to let it happen again? Or it's OK to refuse to fight against evil?

@neilojim1972 @rtenews Actually wisdom from a Classic Antiquity period Rabbi. But sure, scoff, as post Christian Europe goes down the gurglar. 👋

@neilojim1972 @rtenews I prefer scripture: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"

@neilojim1972 @rtenews If the criticism comes from those with little credibility themselves, sure. Europe, England, Ireland all in rather a mess right now, and largely self created, from ideological commitments. Why would Trump listen to any criticism from them?

@rory_donaghy @rtenews No, Nazi Germany was something else altogether. Besides, fighting evil for its own sake is the sign of moral clarity that I'm talking about.

@TaylorRMarshall Considering that the apocrypha wasn't canonised until around 1500s more church fathers had the Protestant view.

@neilojim1972 @rtenews Probably none of them really. In today's climate, I see a lot of Politicians virtue signalling on the world stage, whilst having significant domestic problems they're trying to ignore, if not actively exacerbate.

@rtenews WW2 wasn't England vs Germany. Hence the 'world' bit. But yes, fight against those commiting a holocaust.

@rory_donaghy @rtenews Ireland would have been fighting for itself, against fascism. If Germany invaded Britain, you think they would have stopped there?

@neilojim1972 @rtenews I'd say the nations condemning Trump should take a good look at themselves first. To the point, I've been hearing disturbing things about the current Irish administration.
