Ezana (ዒዛና/ʿIzana), the first Christian emperor of the Aksumite Empire, was the first ruler to use the term Ethiopia (ኢትዮጵያ/ʾItyop̣p̣ya) to refer to Aksum. Therefore, Ge’ez (ግዕዝ/Gəʽ(ə)z) being called “Ethiopic” isn’t very absurd at all.
Terms that tend to be utilised by Amhara ethnonationalists such as the “

The Amhara Orthodox Church is a symbol of Amhara superiority that leads to discrimination. One example of this is the church's refusal to allow Oromo Orthodox followers to pray in their native language, Afaan Oromo. The Amhara Orthodox Church went as far as calling Afaan Oromo a

Western Tigray belongs to the Tigrayan, Amhara, Gumuz, etc. inhabitants of the area, not settler-colonialists who’ve committed genocide and moved in to shift the demographics of the occupied territories since 2020.
The fact that you have naturally impoverished lands doesn’t entitle you to steal lands from others. Amhara region is rich and the stolen lands still belong to Amharas.

The 1955 Revised Constitution of Ethiopia states that the official language of the Empire was Amharic, not that Afaan Oromoo was banned. The official language of the People’s Republic of China is Mandarin Chinese (Beijing Dialect). Amharic was the language of governance. Read.

The reason as to why Hareris are a minority in their own city is because of the Oromo expansion/assimilation of the Harla people and your people’s constant raiding of their sultanate. The Harer Jugol wall also served to keep Oromos out of the city. Oromos dealt the most damage.

It’s their unjustifiable hubris, saying that they aren’t self-reliant undermines one of the key reasons for their state’s existence. Why should a state that can’t fully sustain itself continue to exist if nobody is willing to take the initiative to actualise that raison d'être?
