First mistake that people make is assuming that the persecution of Orthodox Christians is by Muslims- this is actually not the case. Second mistake is that people say things like “Christian dominated” without making the distinction of what christian group is being referred. If you are making a claim that Orthodox Christians are abusing Muslims I would sincerely like to see the data. Inter-religious conflicts have been attempted and failed for centuries in this country and Ethiopian Muslims who have been in the country since the first Hijrah have lived in harmony with orthodox Christians. There have been external factions of both religious groups (other denominations) that have been imported into the country through time. You can look at the wuhabist influence into the Muslim community and the Jesuit influence on the Christian community as an example. The reality is complex and deserves a nuanced discussion.

Everyone is not being persecuted in Ethiopia I don’t know what single handedly targeting the Orthodox means because that’s incorrect English. I never considered or made an assertion that anyone is privileged/ so stop making up nonsense Yes there are many people within the church who have contributed to the chaos. But they are just symptoms of the problem not the cause
