The Taliban have banned the construction of windows that allow women to be seen in the kitchen or courtyard of neighboring houses. This further restricts women’s freedom. Yet, the world and United Nations remains silent about Afghan women.

Considering the situation, this is the only thing we can do now. Moving online is one way for women in Afghanistan to avoid increasingly dangerous confrontations with the Taliban. It’s also a way to organize, encourage each other, and resist the regime’s draconian edicts.

How sad that Afghan people have to look to decades past and smile. This was Afghanistan before war. I've lost count how many days since afghan girls have been banned from education. Afghan women need action.
