He really is our generations carpenter. His horror is ambitious and socially biting but also works as crowd pleasing fun. Not content ton just do ghost stories and slashers he genuinely tries to push and bend the genre just like carpenter
get out was a strong debut but Us was such an incredible levelup for Peele as a director & visual storyteller. this ending, and i dont mean the Adelaide/Red twist - i mean how chaotic and uncertain the world is when the credits roll, had me going "Peele is on some carpenter shit"
