@WarDamnGoose @patriottakes And both the white house and Elon have stated that he will moderate his own conflicts of interest. No checks or balances The man also just happens to be in the running for $400M of government contracts for cyber trucks It's all a grift. How much did Trump's kids make last time?

@WarDamnGoose @patriottakes Well let's see.. 2 days before taking office Trump launches his own crypto grift. Essentially plucks a meaningless valueless currency out of thin air and $2B is lost within weeks. They make $100m though.

@TheOtherDrJD What is wrong with these people? The man spent years degrading and de-skilling the medical profession. He's the guy that kicked off the Associate debacle and he's the reason the GMC is no longer an "independent" regulator. It's like inviting your abusive ex over for Xmas dinner

@WarDamnGoose @patriottakes Trump has been bankrupt more times than he's fathered kids. Elon wouldn't have anything if it wasn't for handouts from his Dad and the myriad billions he's received through government subsidies. They will rinse the public funds for as much as they can get and then some.

@LittlePersonDoc @DrPhilBanfield @gmcuk If patient safety is just something to aspire to then I can quite safely do that without their extortionate fees or indeed subsidising PA fees.

@WarDamnGoose @patriottakes I'll tell you what. Bookmark this thread for 4 yrs and let's come back then and compare how much money Elon and Trump is worth after all this. I suspect it will be a repeat of the last 8 years. Unless they completely fumble the ball. They both want money, power and influence.

Tailored to an individual. A bespoke training package for peeps rejected from medschool. Designed to meet very specific nepotistic demands. As such, they must be renumerated accordingly and we mustn't question it. Hope that adds clarity.

@Oxfordite @IVfacts Not sure about that. I think she's in a sticky bind because on the one hand, she feels obligated to defend PAs since their career pathway is similar to an accelerated ANP pathway. On the other, she must admit Associates/ACPs are open to abuse by Trusts & working way beyond remit.

@EDPractitioner The assumption all along has been once GMC registration happens then requesting IR and prescribing is just a formality. Trusts have facilitated this through creative workarounds. On the basis it's going to happen soon anyway. That's their logic for breaking the law.

@FergusCraig I don't know why I'm so invested in this. I'll be genuinely gutted if you don't actually walk to New Zealand. Your ex-wife doesn't believe you'll do it. You can. Might need a change of socks though and some travel mints.
