Sir not yet seen the movie. But served in an RR Bn in Doda area as a company Cdr during peak of Militancy. Was one of the first to reach Parankote massacre site. Reality of those days were far more horrid than what can be shown in a 2 hour movie.

Sir at the end of my tenure in N Kashmir, High altitude, CI ops & LC, my blood sugars shot upto 485 one day. Medically downgraded. Getting disability pension but am on insulin daily. Many other complications occurred later after my PMR. Surviving somehow. I am 50 yrs old.

I remember in 2015 when I met him in Arunachal Pradesh when he was the Corps Cdr. A lot of views were exchanged and he was forthright on many issues of the Army. I was a Lt Col and he was a Lt Gen, but the way we spoke to each other was quite straight forward. RIP General🙏
