Update from @nycemergencymgt: outage is result of weather-related manhole fires. OEM Watch Command monitors, in touch w Con Ed over night. Additional crews enroute. @ConEdison reported had to push back restoration to 9AM, and are aware of greater urgency before sabbath.

There is a major outage @ Marcy-Myrtle Ave area impacting 100s of families and 1000s of individuals. We reached out to @ConEdison and alerted @NYCMayor's office @mayorsCAU @nycemergencymgt & @OsseChi to ask that the maximum resources shall be deployed for immediate restoration.

Last wk, Bedford Bike Lane Loading No Standings were extended till 7. We contacted @MYCmayor office& @lincolnRestler that at least Fridays, when school end early, parking shall be restored early before shabbos. Thanks for work w @NYC_DOT to change signs to No Standing Fri till 2

We warned that with the Protected Bike Lane, bikers won't stop for school bus flashing red lights. Unfortunately, this plays out time-and-time again. Its high time to remove the Protected Bike Lane, before there are additional and more serious accidents.
A cyclist crashed into a kid coming off his bus on Bedford Ave & Myrtle Ave on the New Dangerous Bike Lane.

It was great to welcome yesterday @SalazarSenate for a visit at UTA, the community's largest school, to see it in action, discuss its needs, and thank the Senator for her support &advocacy. We also visited the Bridal Gown Gemach in that building, and heard of their amazing work.
