@NYPDDetectives The rival street gangs are known as WOOO (We On Our Own) and CHOO. We allege that these gang members’ primary activity is to track rivals and to shoot at each other on sight on the streets of Brooklyn. This is outrageous and will not be tolerated.

Thank you @NYGovCuomo for pledging to close the rape intoxication loophole by making it clear that lack of consent can be the result of voluntary intoxication. This change will help my prosecutors hold more abusers accountable and protect more victims of sexual assault.
I am proposing new legislation to close the rape intoxication loophole — making it clear that intoxication jeopardizes the ability to give consent even when it's "voluntary.". This loophole has let too many abusers walk free and it must be closed. #SOTS2020 #MakingProgressHappen.

DA Gonzalez: “In the midst of an overdose crisis, we cannot sit by and let ppl die when there are proven interventions that can save lives and help ppl get into treatment. I intend to make sure that any facility opened in Brooklyn would be safely integrated into the community."
A New York plan would create supervised injection sites for drug users, in an effort to curb overdoses. It could lead the way for other cities.
