How can fare evasion lead to this brutal violence?. No NYPD training would ever recommend an officer shoot their gun because someone skipped out on a fare. Horrible judgement by this officer led to another cop and members of the public getting shot. Full investigation needed.
Earlier today, one of our officers was shot while protecting our subway system. I am relieved to report he is in good condition now, and we have arrested the suspect who put so many lives in danger. I cannot thank these officers enough for their bravery.

This is damning: an elected official with illegal tints and out-of-state plates, not legally registered, using his official title to evade the law. Worse yet, he lied about the exchange until NYPD set the record straight. CM Salaam should resign as Public Safety Chair.

How is this person still employed by the City of New York?. Mayor Adams’ decision to turn a blind eye to this cronyism is disgraceful. Tim Pearson does not belong in public service and he does not deserve a taxpayer funded attorney for his alleged serial sexual harassment.

It’s messed up City Council has to hold a rally in a heat wave to prevent Mayor from cutting library service to 5 days per week. Far worse is that he already eliminated Sunday service at all libraries. We need libraries for cooling centers, internet, access to learning & more!

This morning, @NYCCFB announced its decision to not provide taxpayer matching funds to Mayor Adams’ re-election. The Adams campaign has brazenly and repeatedly flouted the law. This was the right and necessary decision to protect the integrity of our campaign finance system.
