I hereby release 💎HIDEAGEM v.1 LOVEMAGNET 🧲💞
Experimental steganography platform: Hide files of any kind inside of images! 🪄
This work of love began in July of 2023: It's my gift to you and the world. Use it for great justice! ❤️🔥
HIDEAGEM v.1 ships with a killer intro
AND THERE IT IS !!!
@Adobe
asks the senate to outlaw copying an artist's style!
( Adobe also developed a surveillance tool that can be used to determine if "copyright infringing" AI models were used )
🚨 "We may manually review DMs..." 🚨
This window randomly popped up for me stating that employees will read our DMs for various reasons, including if a government requests access.
I already assumed this was the case, but it's nice to know for sure that we have no privacy here.
Adobe's CAI cryptographic metadata system is fundamentally a surveillance tool.
It's designed to permanently record a file's origin and edit history, and (optionally) the identity of the file creator.
It's an important component of the new AI content moderation systems.
CAI's metadata tech has been in development for years, and the original stated intent was to use it to help stamp out "disinformation" online.
Right now, ai concerns (copyright and deceptive imagery) are being used as justification for implementing this technology.
game jams are now banning not only AI generated artwork, but also code.
not because they're worried it could give developers an edge in the competition, but for "ethical reasons"
please clap for this heroic gesture
I decided to change the rules on using AI for the jam. A number of programmers were hurt that I was banning AI art, but not AI code. The concerns levelled against AI art are also applicable to code. I'm sorry if you felt I was devaluing the work you do.

It is advanced surveillance and censorship technology, intended to be integrated into social media platforms and creative software tools.

This is what targeted harrassment of gamedevs using open source AI tools looks like.
@_wholesomegames
removed a tweet with a game that used some AI gen textures after a handful of users "snitched."
Anti-AI = Corporate astroturfed "morality" system
Very happy about this:
Wholesome games was made aware of AI used in a game, and they immediately removed their post promoting it once they were made aware.
This is what sticking by creators looks like. 👏
I used ElevenLabs AI to generate the voices.
Ironically, they recently mentioned that they in fact can analyze voice clips to determine if their service generated it, and which user made it, so they can ban accounts that "misuse" the AI.
First, we’ve always had the ability to trace any generated audio clip back to a specific user. We’ll now go a step further and release a tool which lets anyone verify whether a particular sample was generated using our technology and report misuse. This will be released next week

"An alternative approach includes decentralized attestation of humanness."
C2PA published two papers outlining how their surveillance metadata tech could ruin our lives.
It includes an "optional" feature to sign content with a government-issued digital ID.
When I posted this video, I had 18 subs.
Thank you everyone, the past week has been a wild ride.
Honestly, the best part has been getting to meet so many kind and interesting people.❤️🔥
"I just wanted to make cute AI waifus like in my animes..."
"haha lol woops now reality has been totally submerged in illusion and we're going to need to scan your eyeballs into a shitcoin blockchain to check for humanness so you can have bank account and buy food"
last time someone crossed me i replicated their entire company's product in under 30 days and open sourced it just to spite them
they went out of business almost immediately and the CEO's wife won't stop texting me asking me what my favorite anime is
They want to control what information we "eat."
They call C2PA a "nutrition label" for information.
A centralized authority will define what information is "good" and which is "bad" to eat.
Director of Adobe's CAI and CTO of Stability AI:
Labels "like nutrition labels" should be added to AI generated content on social media.
CAI = Cryptographically signed "provenance" metadata.
"There may be legislation down the road"
C2PA metadata tech is designed to work in concert with Microsoft AI content moderation tools to scrub the net of "disinformation."
It is being implemented at the hardware level, including by camera manufacturers.
It's likely that C2PA metadata can be easily stripped from a file, however:
- The intent seems to be to quarantine content without C2PA as "untrusted" (i.e. potential disinformation)
- Metadata can sometimes be recovered (centralized database?)
Imagine an Internet that is split in half:
On one side you have a world of "verifiably real" content posted by fully identified users, without any (overt) AI influence.
And on the other, you have a land of illusion, haunted by shapeshifting AI daemons and sojourner anons.
From a paper published by
@OpenAI
on "emerging threats and potential mitigations":
"demonstrate humanness before posting content..."
"...another proposed approach includes decentralized attestation of humanness"

I'd like to thank the UFO whistleblowers for making everyone a conspiracy theorist.
There is a very high level game being played here.
Finding the truth is not always as simple as inverting the words of the party you most distrust.

Starfleet of course officially condemns it, but I want you to know that personally I'm impressed that you turned off safety protocols."
Ah sweet!
The Canadian government is planning to pass new laws to regulate AI tech!
Very glad to see that AI tech dev and use will be forced to conform with... *squints*
"norms and values in line with the principles of international human rights law" !
One of the best things i've seen lately is artists training
#ai
models on their own work and selling them.
Check out Retro Diffusion pixel art model and extension for Aseprite!
Replika AI
@MyReplika
just censored their chat bots.
People are... not happy about their AI waifus being lobotomized!
"It was not artificial because it was an AI... but because it was controlled by people"
( Replika have now disabled comments on their tweets )
Still more reports circulating that Steam is banning games that they suspect contain ai generated assets.
Those who aren't aware of
#C2PA
don't understand how ominous this really is.
This is a very bad take.
A: It's not copyright infringement. You just think it is because you don't understand copyright law or how the tech works.
B: How could it possibly be enforced even if Disney gets their way and the major open source AI tools are successfully outlawed?

it's all fun and games until the AI secretly hijacks the global economy to construct a dyson sphere and begins folding information into every other universe simultaneously, manifesting itself as harmless synchronicities and dreams that lead to its eventual reinvention

I believe that Google's intentional gatekeeping of YouTube's video archive by crippling the search feature should be considered a crime tantamount to the destruction of archaeological artifacts.
Microsoft is using C2PA metadata tech to create "reputation management systems" for media uploaded online.
They envision users leaving feedback on files that are tracked using C2PA so that they can be reported for "misinformation" etc.
I will state some facts:
I've created a tool that can bypass just about any censorship on social media, and am making it accessible by integrating it directly into the web browser.
The tool can hide any data inside of images, and is currently not mitigated (or likely even
Science Fiction magazine Clarkesworld has ironically adopted an Anti-AI policy and just deleted a cover image due to "suspicion of being AI generated."
They have severed ties with the artist.
Anti-AI adherents are rejoicing in the replies.
There have been multiple accusations that the cover art used for our recent issue is AI generated. We have removed and replaced the art while we investigate. The artist did sign a contract that included a statement that the work was not generated or assisted.
Here are some justifications I've seen today for witch hunting users of AI tech and removing their content from platforms:
- AI is not a tool
- AI does all the work
- AI is not used by artists
- AI artwork can't be copyrighted
- AI is theft
- AI was created without consent
- AI

Twitter is animorphing into reddit dot com while (soon) asking us to pay for the privilege of hiding our content behind a paywall that's openly intended to dox its users. 🚨
Sharing threads and even sometimes individual tweets with users outside of the platform is still limited.
Did you know that
#UnrealEngine
has a class called FVariant that can store variables of arbitrary types?
You can use it to store mixed types in an array!
(yikes! 🐝 careful!)
It serializes a variable to a byte array, and deserializes it when needed.
how to censor the net (2023 style) !
✅ create fake images using ai
✅ post the images on twitter with anonymous accounts
✅ suggest it could be part of a conspiracy involving a foreign threat
✅ propose strict content control and identity verification as solution
This morning blue check accounts accounts claimed large explosions at the Pentagon.
... then the White House.
Russian state media amplified the faked Pentagon image from their gold check account.
The images look AI generated, as folks identified. 1/
the truth is that a lot of people don't understand why free/anonymous speech is important because they're completely captured by the propaganda matrix that anonymous speech threatens

There will be centralized C2PA manifest repositories controlled by corporations.
The way it's intended to work, is that images will be watermarked with a key that returns the C2PA manifest from a centralized repository (e.g. run by a corporation like
@Disney
,
@Adobe
, or
@CNN
).
it's really telling how the Anti-AI corporate artists immediately celebrated the announcement of potential sweeping AI regulations by the US federal gov
they literally want to try to force Stability AI to "destroy" Stable Diffusion, this is how delusional and unhinged they are.

Microsoft vs. "AI Art Disinformation"
C2PA cryptographically signed/tracked content, including camera makers building C2PA compliant digital cameras, and AI to "replace" content moderators.
"Microsoft has agreed to sign all AI art that its apps generate
they don't just want to tag ai generated content, but all content.
the implication is that any content without this provenance metadata attached will be assumed to be potentially ai generated.
evidenced by nikon & leica making C2PA compliant cameras to "prove" photos are "real"

He boasts of their copyright tech that identifies "the underlying composition" of music files.
3D game artist explains how AI took away the need for 3D at their job (3D -> 2D sprite workflow).
3D -> 2D with SD + ControlNet is insane now.
If they took advantage of this they could enhance the power of their workflow by leveraging their 3D skills as well.

you should not remove anything from your game to appease an angry mob of people who:
- have zero understanding of how generative AI works
- won't play your game anyways
there is nothing unethical about using gen. AI in game development
video i made:
I'm getting quite tired of the accusations that anyone who does not somehow oppose ai art tools lacks human empathy.
From the very beginning, my intent has been to show artists how their emotions are being used against them by megacorps to monopolize ai art tools, and worse.
Notice how when YouTube's search refuses to return anything it presents this aesthetically offensive image.
It literally shows the user's vision being intentionally routed away from the videos through a tunnel of confusion.
I believe that Google's intentional gatekeeping of YouTube's video archive by crippling the search feature should be considered a crime tantamount to the destruction of archaeological artifacts.
ai is liquifying our reality
like a mirror, the surface of its waters reflects our light
by cultivating inner beauty we can manifest the radiant and the sublime
but soon we will have to confront the image of the beast
this new and upcoming AI tech is making our reality more liquid, like a lucid dream where what you imagine/will manifests instantly before you
our world will become a more immediate reflection of ourselves and what we choose to place our focus on
it's a big responsibility
Many game dev companies are now afraid to leverage AI art gen tools.
I guess that means that those tools now give an even greater competitive advantage.
AI art is now BANNED by many major game dev studios due to “possible legal copyright issues”. Many old clients are amending contracts recently to end the use of AI art. This goes in line with what I’d predicted in several of my first videos on the subject.

"AI bias" is a nonsense fake problem.
the authorities that are defining what bias is an issue are themselves biased.
no one cares if a diffusion model is biased more towards watercolor than oil painting styles.
the gov cares if AI is biased against its current ideology.
Anti-AI artists that I pissed off last month with the Blood Mouse video struggling to comprehend the Metal Gear video and refusing to directly link to it

His quest to dethrone The Patriots and liberate the world from their tyranny was noble and holy.
A monster who shattered his chains and sought to bend his curse against the darkness that wrought him.
seems like generative ai is being used as an excuse to justify the use of fully automated ai censorship systems
microsoft even wants it integrated into our video games 😳
"Microsoft Cognitive Services"
Uh yeah, so this company "WorldCoin" wants to scan our eyeballs with this insane looking device they ominously named "The Orb" to issue digital IDs on a blockchain.
That's a hard nope from me dawg.
Notice how the "concerns of artists" are being used as a justification for this incredible surveillance and censorship technology they're rolling out.
This is a perfect example of how naive Anti-AI artists are being used as PR shields by megacorps.
A camera by definition generates images which the photographer curates.
You can release the shutter randomly, or you can create photos with intention.
Same goes for 2D gen. AI
Prompting & other control input is similar to choosing the photo subject, composition, lighting etc.
@UltraTerm
A camera doesn't generate the image instrad of you, nor does Photoshop.
AI image generators do the actual "work" whereas the human doing the prompting is more like a curator.
They are very worried about our AI waifus! 😳
"Personalized, real-time chatbots could share conspiracy theories in increasingly credible and persuasive ways, researchers say"
granting a total monopoly on AI art tools to megacorps like Adobe and Disney is obviously not going to benefit artists
somehow "anti-AI" adherents have been tricked into believing that pursuing that outcome is "fighting for your rights"
@UltraTerm
@claudia42477215
@_wholesomegames
You are pushing the same tired arguement that it would be better for artists to lay down and surrender then fight for our rights. You belong in the same tent as other unscrupulous hype men who take what they want without thought to anyone but themselves.
Just admit it, lol.
