Emergencies happen everywhere, so everyone needs an emergency kit!
After an emergency, you may need to survive on your own for several days. Gather food, water, and other basic items your household may need.
Get started:
Thunderstorms are expected to move into Central Alabama from the north and northwest Friday afternoon and again Saturday afternoon, bringing the potential for damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall. Also, a Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10 AM to 9 PM Friday.
Several features will move through the area with thunderstorms expected Friday afternoon through Saturday. While large hail is possible, damaging winds will be the main threat with each storm. Both days will be in the afternoon/evening and can have damaging winds up to 60 mph.
Fun was had at Tuscaloosa’s National Night Out! Gave out plenty of TCEMA goodies and signed folks up for TuscALERT! Congratulations to our raffle winners for a FREE Midland Weather Radio!
