I'm mostly here for discussion about #relationships, sex, family, #marriage, #fatherhood, talk radio, & politics. I like considering diverse viewpoints. RTs & follows are NOT endorsements. I blog & tweet from the perspective of a husband & father.
Fair warning: Although I'm a married father w/ evangelical theology & politically conservative-libertarian, I challenge typical dogmas.

@ZacKaizen Not entering into a terrible state contract or getting involved with family courts is based on not taking severe unnecessary risks.

@heyjustpray Most you know SO FAR haven’t divorced. I hope they stay together & happy. Most marriages fail. Divorce is just one way. Some people never legally divorce but they separate, or become roommates, abuse, have affairs, etc.

@ZacKaizen I can’t argue with your experiences. I can point out the possibility of staying together politely. But again… best option is not to play in the fist place.

@ZacKaizen Vasectomies are wonderful. For men who want to raise children, there’s donated eggs & surrogacy.

@heyjustpray Did you know that some people, including women, pretend to be certain ways for a while if it benefits them? Or change? Yeah affairs are terrible. Those are easier to see than one spouse rejecting the other on an ongoing basis before an affair started.

@AI8MyJob Correlation. In our culture, most couples who get along well & are stable married. But their behaviors can be the same without the state license. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a study that followed stable parenting-minded couples who mutually, intentionally avoided marriage.

RT @8trius: @tmsilverman Taylor, you want men to have the same romantic love template women have. Men are not what you wish we could be.

I don’t let my wife cheat by watching certain media.
I don’t let my wife watch the Food Network or any chef/cooking/baking shows. The food I make for her should be enough. If she watches that stuff, it means she doesn’t love me & I won’t be enough for her, & she might go to dinner with someone else. She’ll want more extreme meals.

@FrenchOG3 People either never ask, “Why would he want to sign a terrible state contract?”… or they make something up as to why he should.

@McJoGamer84 @ericmetaxas The unspoken truth is they want men serving their wife & church. Not enjoying anything else.

Your son is fortunate not to have signed a terrible state contract.
@ericmetaxas Finding a wife is the problem . Our son is 33 and wants nothing more than to find a woman who loves God and start a family.
