@DanRiceWrites Ghosts are very real for the MC. She can find them in Hel’Hadean, The Plane of Death.

@JessGraceWrites I either use mythical names or choose names with meaning. Ex: the Peninsula of Perdition; demons infest the area. It’s so bad, a giant wall was built on the isthmus to keep them at bay.

@JordanE91887596 It depends on so many things. MC’s father is friends with Robert’s father. Harriet, her friend, is a servant of Robert’s family. Shin is looking for his sister and came into the picture on his own accord. And so on…

@Valor53555939 MC Orenda is loosely based on the trickster god Coyote from Native American folklore and Robin Hood from English folklore. Harriet Tubbes is based on Harriet Tubman. The gods are based on Greek mythology. Most of my other characters are fairly original.

@Linnaeus_Writer A pretty large role. Gods are real and come in five types. Fate is seen as a force of nature even greater than the gods. The Beastrum refuse religion. The Monstrum have a church system that does public services. Many Fey are descended from gods. Humans play a part.

@_midori_me_ I can understand why. Not enough fiction focuses on people in their 30s and 40s. I admit I’m a little hypocritical here, as my MC and close peers are between 17 and 23. Though my other characters range from infancy to elderly.
