I'm just a guy who loves to write. Whether that be stories, poems, scripts, a novel. Whatever.

#WritingCommunity #WritingQ What connection does the supporting cast have to your MC? Raidena is royalty, so her cast all perform roles in her court—Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, Scout, Court Jester, etc.

Can we get a crossover between #MarioParty and #Jumanji? That would be so cool and dangerous at the same time.

@CatherineBowse2 Royalty is like any other trope. It depends on how you use it. Characters like Black Panther, Aquaman, Lion-O, Bowser, and Aragorn are all kings, and they're still held in high regard.

@TFiredrake Is that a cape, is she being strangled, or is that one of those symbolic deaths, where hands drag the person down into the void?

@SusanSavageLee1 With four chapters finished, that would be the 2v1 fight in chapter 2. The Sage of Air, Empress Valdis fights Cecelia (Fire) and Bastion (Water) of the Second Sanctum. The resulting clash blows away all the sand in the desert they're fighting in, leaving clay and bedrock behind.

#WritingCommunity #WritingQ What's the first thing your antag does on-page? Dr. Moira is in a laboratory experimenting. When it concludes in failure, she executes the barely-alive subject, peels its skin away for further study, and discards the bones. "Bring in the next one."

@em_templin1 For me, it's the Battle in the Center of the Mind. Mental confrontations are loaded with symbolism and opportunities to show character growth.

@DharamNahal For Raidena, it depends on whom you ask. Constance would say Raidena inspired her to stay in college when she was seconds away from quitting. Hetty would say Raidena showed her a glimpse of her true potential instead of being a scamming cheater.

@TropeTerrain The only truly unbeatable entity in Astola is its creator: The Goddess Amraura. She brought the concepts of Life and Death into being and, therefore, cannot die. All magic comes from her, and it cannot harm her.

@TropeTerrain Hetty the Usurper is Ancient Astola's Starter Villain. A selfish, backstabbing, arrogant, greedy, cowardly piece of [redacted!] who sells out her own Sanctum out of petty jealousy. And she is UGLY. Look her ugliness in the face and be repulsed.

#WritingCommunity #Writingq #WritingPrompt: What moment during your #WIP did things go from good to great? For me, it was when I started implementing all the research for chapter 1. I had never written a CASTLE SIEGE before!

#WritingCommunity #writingprompt A studious girl named Constance has encyclopedic knowledge but little talent for using it, and she feels useless. One day, she gains an ability called "Knowledge is Power." What does the ability do, and how does it work?

@Lwez17 Raidena is the most active character in the entire setting, so yes. She doesn't just wait for the villains to strike, she's outright hunting them down.

@scriblotta I did at one point but maintaining all of those pseudonyms became pointless since my blog uses my real name in the headline, so I stopped.

@TropeTerrain Someone does, but it's a VERY big spoiler...if I can keep from making it too obvious.

If #PokemonSnap could get its own spin-off, why can't we get the same with #Pokemon contests? The anime made them look so much cooler than the games

@_midori_me_ I would be interested to see a story with a good empire and bad rebels. Just for the novelty.
