Relatedly, the only way you can have a government of limited power is if you can rely on the social norms of the populace to fill in the gaps. If society fragments into immoral sects without unity, there will be chaos. The constitution and laws are not enough.

I eat meat nearly every meal but my family buys local, humanely raised animals. You can pretty easily buy a quarter or half cow from a local rancher. These evil practices should be ended. God gave us dominion over animals and we should not torture them.
