3 Bookies at today's Gundagai meeting, P. Jones and NPS Brown from Wagga, and Kevin Walsh from Albury. I know they only turn up if punters do, but while these 3 didn't travel any vast distance to today's meeting, often these days they travel as far and as often as many jockeys.

Lift your game @SkyRacingAU - Don't have your commentators say like the Kembla one just did "we haven't got time to show the rest of the runners parading ..." that's interpreted as "we don't give a fuck about the parade". How about just giving punters what we want?

Great day at Yass Picnics on Saturday. Club and Volunteers an amazing job, infield cleared - can now watch the whole race (apart from the dip at abt 400m that swallows all before it, emerging on turn. 9 Bookies, big crowd, bigger fields than last year. Some pics and videos.

Seems to me the "Chances are you're about to lose" slogan only applies to punters in NSW. Because it's only in NSW that the governing racing body continues to withhold vital form info that would otherwise assist in making informed punting choices. WTF am I talking about ...

@davepband She clearly doesn't understand that these corps might well pay the tax that the ACT Govt has imposed, but they then tighten their markets by equal to, or more than the % increase the ACT just imposed, meaning that in the end, the punter pays. She needs to learn how markets work.

Good results Queanbeyan, + 2¾ hr less drive than Tathra. 3 wins on top + 1 as 2nd pick, the 3rd pick winner good enough to back as if a top 2 pick anyway. Best/day Race 1 - 9 Pushalot (1st starter) paraded outstanding Nisbet stable on fire. Acton Fri, Qbyn again next Sun. Wacko.
