Only eight teams ran fewer offensive plays per game than the Raiders in 2019. However, Las Vegas had the third highest time per drive and their defense faced the fourth fewest plays. This team is very slow with the ball and that's not good for fantasy.

It's not just Vance McDonald, every season there has been hype for a Steelers TE since Heath Miller retired. Our favorite is Ladarius Green.
@NickDynastyff
@ElvinRyan_FF
Henry only got like 100 touches his first season and was in a time share in year two. Could be similar with Dillon not taking work until after Williams and Jones are gone.
@drfantasyholic
I foresee Dobbins having a rookie season similar to Derrick Henry. The Titans gave Henry some work in year one but rode DeMarco Murray for one last good season. Dobbins will get like 100 carries but unless Ingram gets hurt, there's no rush to force Dobbins into lineup
@KonnorFulk
Whoever buys the XFL needs a five-year plan and the fortitude to stay committed to it. Every football startup has focused on season-to-season operations which almost never works in the business world. No one wants to stomach the short term losses for long term gain.

@TroyTerrific
AJ Green may not stick around the whole season and the Bengals have 0 TEs leaving plenty of short/intermediate targets for Boyd. Efficiency should improve with better QB play as well. Bengals will probably be playing from behind a lot too.

You also have to take note of what percentage of the plays we was off the field for were run plays? If he's on the field more, but as a blocker and not a receiver, then there is no fantasy value to be added.

It's crazy people are down on Tyler Boyd. Auden Tate, Alex Erickson and John Ross combined for 214 targets last season. There are enough looks for A.J. Green and Tee Higgins without Boyd taking a hit. Here's what else to look for from the Bengals in 2020

That's not what I'm arguing. It's all about volume and opportunity. Even if Akers is stuck in a timeshare in LA, he's going to get more looks than Vaughn, especially in the red zone. Look at Arians coached teams and red zone rushing stats, it's ugly

@DynoGameTheory
Minshew is average to above average. Kind of like David Garrard. He won't win or lose you games on his own. But with a good team around him, you can win games and with a bad team you'll lose games.
@ElvinRyan_FF
Week 17 is almost never a sign of things to come. Jarwin had a 7/119/3 game in 2018 that lead to nothing in 2019. Mahomes' week 17 start in 2017 was nice but hardly impressive.
Also, Rob Kelley had a game with almost the exact same stat line in 2016:
The bold starts yielded mixed results but here is the final tally (full PPR):

- 50.22 (Trubisky, Wilson Jr., Tate, Logan Thomas)

- 47.1 (Herbert, Swift, Lazard, Sample)
We will be back at it next week so stay tuned

Agreed, Kendrick Perkins' takes are exactly like how he played the game of basketball. No nuance, skill or entertainment. With so many insightful former NBA players out there, I have no idea why ESPN gives him air time.
What is the point of having Pat McAfee on College Gameday? It's like watching a hummingbird. There is a ton of activity but none of it is remotely worthwhile.

@GuruFantasyWrld
Forget about all this. The case against Vaughn is his head coach, full stop. Arians doesn't value the RB position. That DJ 2016 season is an outlier. Put any of the other rookie RBs in Tampa and I'd still avoid them. Situation/coaching is as important in fantasy as talent
Tampa can be as hyped as they like, but the fact is the Bucs got a 42-year old QB who has declined the past two seasons and a TE who could barely run the last time we saw him. This ain't the 2011 dynamic duo.

Let's get serious here. Bowden will lineup everywhere, Edwards isn't a lock to make the team and Williams is Mr. 4 catches or less per game. Renfrow having two good games against teams with nothing to play for hardly qualifies as emerging. Waller will still get plenty of looks
@BallBlastEm
Gurley YPC was 3.8 last season and his long was like 25 yards. He wasn't special at all but when it comes to RBs, McVay values them a lot more than Arians who is clearly going to split carries between Vaughn and Jones anyway. Akers ceiling is much higher
@TheCommishFFP
DK was a redbone target because of injuries. Olsen and Dissly will cut into those looks. And if Seattle does bring in AB or Gordon, it's easy to see Metcalf losing targets in general.

I understand not wanting to put pressure on Huard. However, UW is 2-4 and playing the worst team in the Pac-12. If this isn't the time to give him a shot, when is? After 10 games, everyone can see Dylan Morris probably isn't the answer.

takes a look at a few players off the radar that just may be worth a start in week 3
Giannis may be a 2-time MVP but he's an LVP from the free throw line. His 1-10 performance the other night puts him in some elite company. We're talking Wilt Chamberlain and...errr...Chris Dudley
@howaboutafresca
That's fine, but why does Glazer need to sit on the story for 24 hours and tease it like he did? It wasn't breaking news at all and he could have announced it yesterday.
