@emigal @ezrainc Yes, I'd be happy to. Enhanced detection of cancers might or might not be a good thing - it could even lead to net harm. Screening isn't a panacea, even for the cancers for which it works somewhat well. It isn't realistic to think that this represents a cure for cancer.

When I was a trainee, a radiologist told my attending "A good cytopathologist can make a diagnosis with two cells." Without skipping a beat, the reply: "And a good radiologist gets the right two cells."

One of my radiologist used to get into a friendly argument with me with such scant FNAs, always challenging me that that "reading individual cells is what distinguishes cytologists from histopathologists".
