@longstosee I’m rewatching the power of three and it just strikes me how much more personality it has compared to the high tech tower. It feels more lower budget in a good way, like it’s not a department with billions of funding

@gothoperas Like what happened to wanting flawed characters. Pure paragons of virtue aren’t always compelling main characters

@LariskaPargitay Do you know what annoys me most about empire of death/how they handled Rubys parents. I think that if you remove the whole cosmic entity hinting/finale hinging on/dna stuff that Rubys mother being a scared kid trying to keep her daughter safe is incredibly impactful

@jae_writes_ Yeah, I feel S1 felt more like a display window for the types of stories Doctor who can do rather than a season of doctor who. It had the Doctor lite/more blatantly politically minded story (not a bad thing) then the silly comedy story, then the campy music one and etc
