This is why the Bears won’t move to Arlington Heights. A traffic map Friday 4:00 pm showing 2 hrs inbound on 90, 94, 290, 55, DLSD
20 lanes of expressways taking Swiftys and their moms downtown. How would it work going to A.H. with just 6 lanes?

How about “no” to the public funding part, and then make them rebuild that beautiful race track they tore down in their twisted ruse to try and gain public support for this nonsense.
@the_vello
The city of Chicago does not currently have a recall mechanism in place, and there is no statewide law regarding municipal mayoral recalls. Many Illinois municipalities have recall statutes. Chicago could theoretically implement one.

She has accomplished her goals! And not just in the city proper, we are in the “crime for all” era.
Two armed robberies and a mass retail theft in Arlington Heights alone- just since the new year!
Enjoy it everyone. Drink it in, like it’s San Diego.

Can WGN investigates check into possible all expenses paid away game trips for Arlington Heights village officials last year paid for by the Bears? The same officials that then allowed for the demolition of Arlington Park in a matter of months without so much a plan, proposal

I am not sure he was “obviously not the problem”. He may not be the most obvious problem, or the only problem, but he is not clearly exonerated from the possibility that he may be a big problem.

My initial thought is a lot of the highest scoring lanes do have operating passenger rail.
I would like to see an overlay or side by side with existing service.

Once upon a time in 1980 a book called “Free to Choose” by Milton Friedman spent 5 weeks at the top of the US best seller list. They made a 10 part series out of it that aired ( and you are going to think I’m making this up) on PBS! They don’t play like that no more.

Local corruption is rampant, but this the first time I have heard about the use of “walk up music” in any collections process, public or private.

They destroyed our areas beautiful racetrack, all the while knowing they could never build there, and now they want us to foot the bill for their new stadium downtown.
@WGNNews
They knew they could never build at Arlington Park due to the lack of infrastructure. All of the expressways lead downtown; only two go to Arlington. The rail outlook is even more dismal; Arlington would cut out 90% of the network for a one train trip.
At the time the Bears

But my favorite is the lemon chicken and you can only order it off of the catering menu. Honestly, if they are getting that, they in for a treat.

I wonder what it took to take a hard core commie like BJ and turn him into the McCasky’s legislative water carrier, seemingly overnight?
Those must have been some real special sandwich’s KW served up to him during those lunches. I think some of my Arlington Heights officials

For perspective the total tax bill they are disputing as assessed is about $17M annual, so they are fighting over maybe $8M a year or the price of T.J. Edwards salary.

To clarify; there is not a state law that covers this but some individual municipalities have recall mechanisms. Chicago is not one of them.
For example; Arlington Heights has one; I know because I pulled a recall petition on the mayor and a trustee last July.
