@vickiGPN We go through this too. My hubby just acknowledges that when mummy does “x,y,z” he thinks it’s awesome too. He will try comfort or distraction but most importantly he acknowledges that it’s ok to miss me but it isn’t going to change who’s putting little one to bed.

@vickiGPN I don’t have any real advice but you are not alone. Our 3.5 is very shy as was/is her sister. I just take peace knowing she has a good attachment with me (even though some days it’s hard)

@NatashaMDay I went for lunch with my aunt and she was like “when do you sleep?” Parent, para student, president of society, volunteer, pre hospital committee along with some research plus parent time job…. You just find the time don’t you?

@pippipandaway I have an ADHD teenager, ASD middle child and toddler…I feel your pain 😆 but I remind Myself I can’t pour from an empty cup. The drive home, making sure I’m coming home to pre prepped food or had food as I leave a shift, planning a gym session or even just a shower helps

@nqpcharlie @maff2k @simontutt88 @madmedicalman The clinician who delivered baby is logged in my unit so normally that would be the assigned midwife. So in this case, that’s you. A community birth by non midwife is incredible and you can use the experience as point of reflection….but don’t be overly hard on yourself

@JojoJonesy4 @TheLeeMcLaren I’ve heard several times from the supervising clinician and I’m on my last ambulance placement as a 3rd year.

@loddyy24 @ParaAndy90 Pts aren’t routinely monitored 100% of the time an abx is running within the hospital setting, so surely if sat with clinicians, any reaction could be escalated quickly?
