2- To Peatling or not to Peatling? @RossNicol12 A popular selection currently owned by 21% of the competition, James Peatling looks to be set to get a real crack at a spot in Adelaide's midfield group, after his move from GWS in the off-season. He has a nice bye to consider, with no early bye and avoiding the tricky round 12 bye. He appears likely to get a genuine opportunity in Adelaide’s midfield. It looks like Laird is dropping out of CBA attendances, as he had only 9% CBAs across the last four games of the season- as per @DFSAustralia He has also been reported to be 'dominant in Adelaide's match sim' multiple times by @Simeon_TW from the Adelaide Advertiser. His average of 90.8 from 12 full games suggests at 352k, he could make us a bit of cash. Maybe a hold till his bye? One definite consideration which must be made is that selecting Peatling could disrupt the 'guns and rookies' setup many SuperCoaches are adopting to use this pre-season. His price point is easy enough to pivot to a Jagga Smith or Harvey Langford, or even to upgrade to a Clayton Oliver. It does leave the question if there is simply less risky value elsewhere? For me, I don't currently plan to select him. He simply doesn't fit my team structure. However, some monster performances in preseason may just suck me in.

@pistolpete_17 @JanathFernando4 @RossNicol12 @Supercoach_DR @SpillsSC Don't mind him at all! Meek vs Nank was a tough one to split, but leant in the favour of Nank given his end to 2024, as well as the lack of an early season bye. Meek could very easily be the better starting pick however! Cheers

Hey Tom - there are only 3 defenders 600k+ (Sheezel, Flanders, Ryan) - based on that, we had Sheezel as the unanimous Number 1 of those 3, then think Flanders will outperform Ryan this year, even with the early season bye. Flanders playing as a high half forward to end last season also had some very consistent scoring, whilst Ryan in particular did not benefit from Freo's quicker ball movement. Hope that makes more sense now! 😄

To iterate: These are the options whom we recommend in your starting squad, but also with a season long view as well. Hence, Round 0 players are slightly bumped down compared to those who do not play Round 1 e.g., Nick Daicos vs Caleb Serong!
