@ibnmalik39 Those lawyers abound. Members of the "as the court pleases" choir. Not known for substance, probity, or reasoned intervention.

@ataweweattorney It shows that the application was not baseless, as such disposition suggests a degree of interest that transcends the desire to do justice. Metropolitan Properties Co Ltd v. Lannon is an instructive decision on the subject of judicial bias. Every judge should read it.

@ibnmalik39 That aspect, too. The courts brandish: "Application for recusal is an attack on the court." No, your lordships, it is an opportunity to deepen the trust of the litigants & common observers in our administration of justice system.

@_empighalo It was not funny. From 600k (self-con to 1m). Took severe pleadings for him to take 800k. I didn't know what caused it until much later, when the girl told me the parents saw me and concluded that I had arrived. It was Col. Dasuki's case.

@_empighalo That reminds me of an experience. I stood behind my boss for an interview after the court session in a top matter. Got notice of rent increment from my landlord a week later. I found out from his daughter that it happened because the man saw me on TV in a "big case".🤣🤣.

@Mazi_OJD I was waiting for that 1999 document part🤣🤣. The constitution is not a penal law. It isn't even the statute that spells out what amounts to murder, manslaughter, and the punishments. You're too ignorant on the subject to be this bold and assertive.

@ataweweattorney Did you factor in the principle that not every term in a contract is enforceable & binding? Like oppressive, unequitable, & aggressive clauses can be rendered impotent in a contract even if parties endorsed it. Without a court order, bank can't take a punitive step on an account.
