I absolutely love this as it captures, without doubt, the current travails of many young lawyers out there. As someone has interviewed a number of young lawyers and discussed with other small to midsized firm principals and employers here’s my advice:
My friend recently told me of a lady who's got double first-class. One from the university and another from the law school and hasn't been able to get an offer from a law firm.
I'm not so superstitious, I'd have imagined village people had a hand in it.

While many will say it’s more ideal to go law school before service, I will say, judge by your situation. If your school has a waitlist for law school, rather than sit at home, go for NYSC. I currently have a lawyer serving in my office who is yet to go to law school.
