I’ve been publicly pretty reserved on this issue because I’m afraid the train has left the station, but this is absolutely slimy! Shame on everyone involved w/ circumventing the established laws & process. I hope constituents are asking questions of elected officials. I will be!
There's an interesting proposed change in HSB 31, the rules that govern the Iowa House. Rule 32 says any bills that go through the Education Reform Committee are exempt from Appropriations and Ways and Means, where their financial impact would be assessed.

If we are going to have winter activities it might be nice if the event capacity was based on individual gym occupancy & capacity instead of an arbitrary 2 / participant.
Looks to me PCSD may still have some untapped capacity in this gym.... 😉🤷🏻♂️

Relaxed? No. A lot of new to profession teachers report university classes were outdated but found great value in field experiences & student teaching. Need to get aspiring teachers in classrooms sooner & get them paid. No reason at all to pay full tuition while student teaching!
