We’ve just given around 1000 pairs of goggles from all the secondary schools in TSAT and a similar number of protective gloves to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. They were really well received!

Adele is an excellent ally to the community. She performed at Pride for free, dedicated performance to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, wrote songs specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community and got ordained so she could perform a same-sex wedding ceremony.

Kindness is so important! Yesterday, some of our students created messages to help those who are self-isolating to feel less lonely. We dropped them off in the 'kindness post-box' in Crookes to be passed on to elderly residents in local care homes.

Tapton School Academy Trust are crowd funding to raise money to manufacture face shields in their DT departmernts for the NHS and other front line care workers during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Only 7 bands across the country have made it to the final so this is an excellent achievement!
The final will take place at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on 5th July.

We are so proud of Lois Bruce who represented Tapton at the 67th ESSA National Diving championships. She came first winning a gold medal! Her category was 1M springboard where she performed 5 dives. Lois dominated the competition keeping her first position from the very start.
