The irony is David Zaslav is doing all this cost cutting in order to get 3 billion dollars back. And now the company has LOST almost 3 billion dollars.
Ain’t karma a stinker?

Believe it or not, there is a canon explanation to this. In the second Jimmy Timmy Power Hour, Jorgen made it so Anti-Fairies CAN be seen by the naked eye to make their evil deeds harder and just to spite them.

The Hasbro reruns won’t even be around for long now that Hasbro is selling out of Discovery Family, and aren’t even on Discovery+. Although to play devils advocate, Discovery isn’t ONLY animal shows. They also have cooking shows and TLC.
Not like that’s much better.
@prozac_papito
@Saberspark
They do green light new shows. They just throw them away after two seasons if they don’t immediately reach the levels of success their major franchises have.
@Shattubatu
@LiamBeUponYe
TTG is the type of show that assumes/knows since it has bright colors and funny random humor, kids will watch anything it throws at them. But instead of doing the bare minimum, it actually does anything it wants. And I love it for that.
@Schaffrillas
May I have the podium? Amphibia does have filler, but that doesn’t mean that the filler is bad and should be skipped.
Ivy on the Run is a filler episode, and it’s one of my favorites of the series.
@gimmickannoying
I haven’t been a teenage boy for a while but last time I was in high school there were a BUNCH of kids (even a former friend of mine) idolizing the fucking KKK so it checks out
Twitter is legit unusable for news now. For example, say I see the
#stockmarketcrash
tag and I'm curious. I click it and it turns out it's JUST a bunch of unrelated posts with the
#stockmarketcrash
tag (alongside a bunch of unrelated ones) to boost themselves
@TheJakeneutron
We can wait a year longer for when Popeye enters the public domain and have him beat the shit out of the mouse
Or we can do it immediately when MM enters public domain with Olive Oyl instead because SHE’S in the public domain RN
@ectoplasmVA
Or, HEAR ME OUT, it’s cheap to produce and appeals to kids with bright colors and random humor.
The show is definitely overplayed and not my cup of tea but it’s not THAT bad
@pk_kenzie
- some netflix shows are cancelled
- people decide it's not worth it to watch the other netflix shows if they're just gonna be cancelled
- other netflix shows aren't watched
- other netflix shows are cancelled
self fulfilling prophecy at this point
@ElDiegoxter
@art_sponge
even the earlier "realistic" caricatures looked more like Simpsons characters
okay I lied it still looks like from another show, just one with a soul
@Legend4Universe
There are plenty of things to criticize Steven Universe for. This ain’t it.
Also, don’t act like SU characters are the only cartoon characters who wore the same thing every day.

@luisamadrigals
While I do prefer some older cartoons and think modern cartoons share similar artstyles, I’m not going to say the newer cartoons are objectively worse, or that 90s art styles varied WILDLY, nor did they before.
"The "Looney Tunes" and "Flintstones" content was licensed to HBO Max from WB under an intra-company deal. Those licensing agreements expired at the end of 2022 and HBO Max did not renew them, as it seeks to reduce content expenses."
@TheCartoonBase
Gumball’s movie is up in the air, and THAT movie was supposed to set up the spin-off, Craig is being cut, all the new shows getting cancelled…
We’re regressing to what everyone THOUGHT 2017 was, where all CN “had” was Teen Titans Go
