There's something very impressive about 8 horses heading into the city! 🐴 Odin & Harper were being shown the way from Elland Rd to Leeds city centre by their friends from West Yorks & South Yorks prior to Leeds vs Millwall yesterday. They are enjoying a well earned rest today!

Harper & Odin are back safely after a busy weekend in West Yorkshire ⚽ They were well looked after by their West Yorks friends & met up with some South Yorks friends for a nice tour of Elland Rd & Leeds city centre. There was some FA cup football too- Leeds vs Millwall 🦁

🐴 Odin's Archive It can be hard work being a grey police horse- my friend Harper tells me that he has to have a bath nearly every day! Here are two beautiful greys- Henry and Monty- with PC Kip Gibbons. This is probably from the early 90s judging by the blue police shirt.

🐴 Odin's Archive ⚽ We've had a long week, with 3 busy football matches in TVP, Hants & West Mids. We are glad to be back home safe and sound. As a department, policing football has always been a big part of our job- some of my predecessors even made it onto the pitch!

Last night, PHs Viktor, Odin, Luna & Harper assisted @HantsPolice with the rematch between @Pompey VS @MillwallFC ⚽️ All the horses did a brilliant job escorting different sets of fans 🙌🏽

On Friday, PH Harper introduced Mars to the street network at our training base 🐴🐴 Of course, Mars took it all in his stride & Harper was a great tutor 🙌🏽 They also got to show off some of their capabilities to a group of new detectives & we wish them the very best of luck 🕵🏽‍♂️

We recently spent a few days at @wellyriding as part of our annual training 🐴 👮‍♂️ Thank you to Dani Reddan for your excellent coaching, we all certainly took a lot away from it, which for one rider, meant learning who knows best…. 🐴 or 👮‍♂️ 😂

PHs Odin & Morph were down in @TVP_Windsor today 🙌🏽 First up, Morph’s first guard change!! Odin was very impressed with him 💂‍♀️🥳 Their next stop was @Dedworth_Middle to meet the #MiniPolice there 👮‍♀️
