As 2024 finishes off , I would like to look back at the birds I had this year. I saw lots of brilliant birds and made fantastic memories! Here are my birds of the year, the recent Scops Owl at Broadstairs, Kent, and the Myrtle Warbler in Kilwinning, Ayrshire, back in the spring.

The thought of a 2 mega day is absurd, but it actually happening is indescribable!!! Brilliant views of the American Yellow Warbler at New Hythe at lunchtime! We then carried on to Broadstairs in the twilight to watch the awesome Scops Owl with @NoahBai14527125 and @RobsBirding!!
