Probably a timely reminder to be careful about how you use manuscript illustrations of animals/monsters unless you're familiar with their iconography... the visual language of medieval antisemitism is not always apparent to the modern viewer.

gentle reminder for PhD students: things like working overtime, missing sleep, any period of misery, prioritizing work over personal life, and working weekends/holidays aren't requirements for success and anyone who promotes those things is just trying to exploit you
