@Blue_Footy They're top of the league and are favourites to win the Champions League. Chelsea haven't been serious title contenders for eight years They are in a different universe right now.

@DeanCFC_ Nkunku isn't a 9โ€”he never has been. He has shown that every time heโ€™s played there. He thrives playing second striker with someone who can hold the ball up. If Gusto fills in at LB, weโ€™re down to one RB. KDH is nowhere near the level. He hasn't had one good performance.

@DeanCFC_ You also credited him. Plenty were patting the directors on the back, too, including themselves. The drop-off coincides with Fofana & Laviaโ€™s injuries. But weโ€™re not allowed to acknowledge injuries this season? Now we have 0 fit strikers, 1 LB, and 2 reliable midfielders.

@DeanCFC_ The whole point is that you're saying the board are blameless for the falloff in the last few months. They can't be immune to criticism when they have assembled the team and hired the manager they think is best to lead it. If Maresca isn't good enough, then that's their fault.

@DeanCFC_ If you think they are good enough for that, then I'll ask you why Pochetinno didn't achieve top four last season.

@DeanCFC_ โ€œThe only person to blame is himโ€ is the worst reaction to last nightโ€™s result I've seen. Absolving the owners and board of any blame for how the club is performing right now is categorically ridiculous.

@DeanCFC_ Normal fans have a balance between those posts and your position. Everyone is too blame.

@FelixJohnston_ You have to put something on him for the effort levels today. His first answer in the post match presser was โ€œnow we can focus on top five and the Conference League.โ€ that's what you want from a Chelsea manager?

@FelixJohnston_ It's the same board that hired him that fell out with him within a year. And he improved the team as soon as they wanted him out.

Leicester City went on a run of three wins in nine last season under Enzo Maresca. But the Chelsea board thought he would improve the club?

@Gemma_Manns Terrifying the role he has to take on at his age, inexperience, and time at the club

@DeanCFC_ He's not a sole striker, and for someone who bigs him up so much, you should know that. His entire game is built off of playing next to a big man to hold the ball up, like Poulsen or Silva at Leipzig. Without one to play next to him today, you can't just blame Maresca.
