Incredible to see the Chelsea fan base almost entirely behind Tuchel rather than a player, love to see it.
Thomas Tuchel is taking the club into a new period of quality football and any player that does not want to be there can leave. Good to see people backing the vision.
Chelsea fans United against the super league and won. Chelsea fans United against the Ricketts family and won.
Always remember the power fans when they come together.
Jules Kounde will be outstanding at Chelsea. The difference between players that want to play for the club and players that want to play for the wage is vast.
Kounde has always wanted the club, that says it all.
Some people are actually annoyed that Chelsea fans clapped Chesterfield when they scored?
Non league team scoring, away, against the Champions of Europe after conceding five in the FA Cup Third Round. If you're annoyed at that you need to have a think 😂
Arsenal haven't won a league title since 2004 and Spurs haven't won it since 1961.
Chelsea are the biggest club in London and it really isn't a debate.
I’m seeing Chelsea fans say that, if Jorginho wins the Ballon D’or, he will rank as the greatest midfielder in Chelsea history.
This is simply not the case. It will be amazing if he wins but Lampard, Kante, Essien, Makelele all rank higher for me.
Lukaku will make mistakes, he will make technical errors with the ball, he may miss the odd simple chance. That is the life of a striker.
Let rivals make their jokes. He will do what he has always done, score goals. Exactly what Chelsea have needed.
Ben Chilwell is one of the most unfortunate players right now.
Through no fault of his own, he is not being played for club and country at the moment. I expect him to come back at Chelsea and lock down that spot soon but Alonso has had an excellent month.
Thomas Tuchel goes in with Diego Costa as an individual who, in a short space of time, gave everything for the club and left as legend.
To build a legacy within such a short space of time says it all. Whoever he manages next are extremely lucky.
Winning the Champions League doesn't change the fact that major changes are needed in this Chelsea side.
They have the ability to outperform anyone in a one-off game but are miles off of maintaining top-level form over the season.
On my birthday, 2001, Chelsea FC made the greatest signing in the clubs history.
- 648 games
- 211 goals
- 151 assists
- 3 x BPL
- 4 x FA Cup
- 2 x League Cup
- 1 x Champions League
- 1 x Europa Leage
- 2nd place world POTY
The greatest midfielder the BPL has ever seen.
@FrankKhalidUK
These numbers are in no way indicative of a better career tbh. Rooney had the far better career based on club success, his versatility is almost unparalleled too. Aguero in the box, there are few if any better. I'd rather Rooney's career though.
Important reminder that Havertz isn’t the only Bundesliga player on their way to Chelsea.
Pernille Harder is looking likely to sign for Chelsea Women. With her, the club will be truly elite.
Wolfsburg:
- 68 goals 75 apps
- 4 x Bundesliga & DFB Pokal
- UEFA POTY
- World XI
Raheem Sterling is better than any Chelsea winger but Chelsea fans would rather sign an injury-prone Dembele because he worked under Tuchel years ago.
Either would be great but the way people act like Sterling isn’t an improvement is odd.
Rival fans:
“Werner isn’t a good footballer, he’s only a good goal scorer”
“Havertz is so overrated”
“36? Way too old to play in the Premier League”
“Mendy? Never heard of him”
“Ziyech is 26 and couldn’t get a move sooner loool”
“Ben Chilwell is average”
Kepa is proof why you should never write off a player with potential. The way he has conducted himself and his performances in the last 10-12 months has been excellent.
So happy for him.
Chelsea winning the Champions League would allow Azpi to lift a trophy that he absolutely deserves for being an outstanding club captain.
Chelsea legend without a doubt and deserves to top off an excellent career with a win this big.
Today, these two were outstanding and showed exactly why they’re POTS & YPOTS.
Kovacic is absolutely flawless on the ball and Mount has developed his game massively throughout the year and worked the absolute hardest across multiple positions.
Lucky to have them both.
Following last nights game there is a lot of attention of Kepa and Pulisic, rightly so.
However, this man became the youngest Chelsea player to score 15+ goals in the league. Despite the contract situation, if he stays he will play a big part in the squad’s future success.
If Sterling joins Chelsea I hope that fans give him a bit of time to settle and find his feet rather than snapping to reaction judgements after a few games.
He isn’t perfect, but he’s far better than what Chelsea have. I’m excited.
Hakimi is the best wing-back in world football. He’s played on the left and right as well as being instrumental in Inter’s Scudetto.
Emerson and Alonso may leave, Livramento will benefit from a loan and a big squad is needed over the next two seasons. I get it.
I like Dumfries as a player, but the idea of signing him to push Reece to RCB is not ideal. Reece James is literally a top 5 RB/RWB in the world, why play him out of position and downgrade?
So many Chelsea fans were unwilling to give Tammy Abraham time to work on his game because of an insatiable appetite for success in the form of trophies.
He wanted to make it at Chelsea and absolutely deserved respect from everyone, which he did not get. He is going to the top.
Cult Heroes - Branislav Ivanovic.
- Premier League Champion x3
- FA Cup Winner x3
- League Cup Winner
- Champions League Winner
- UEFA Cup Winner
This man controlled our right hand side for close to 10 years and always showed up in big games. Who are your cult heroes?
Chelsea miss Reece James and Ben Chilwell not only because they’re exceptional players and integral to the way Chelsea play, but they both see Chelsea as the ultimate club to be at. Every signing should be a player who feels that way, nothing less.
I truly believe Tomori has the potential to be a top class centre back at Chelsea and I find it highly unlikely he will permanently leave.
A Premier League loan however might be what’s best for him currently, giving him more time to develop. Thoughts?
Mount looks deflated, it's sad to see.
As much as people use it as a negative, the amount he cares clearly adds extra pressure. POTS two years in a row yet people want him sold, I think that's premature. Plenty of quality there, his form is on the floor. Needs a break.
Tuchel won Chelsea a UCL when the squad had no right to win that tournament and yet he’s the problem?
Chelsea have built success on short term solutions and instant wins. If he is given the keys to build a team in his image, surely give him the players he wants.
Ziyech to AC Milan makes so much sense.
Given a little more time, space, and attacking freedom he will tear that league apart. He has been one of a few unfortunate victims to circumstantial change and Chelsea and it hasn’t worked out fully. Quality player though, for sure.
For both rival and Chelsea fans, let’s just remember what we’re yet to see on the pitch this season.
- Ziyech
- Chilwell
- Thiago Silva
- Mendy
- Pulisic
- Kovacic
Half of our starting lineup is yet to play this season. What you’ve seen so far is only the beginning.
Cesar Azpilicueta is a certified club legend, keeping him around as a source of stability and sanity through such a dramatic change at the club is highly intelligent.
I don’t expect him to always play, I don’t think he does too. A great leader to help a younger team flourish.
As a Chelsea fan, this kind of behaviour is just so disappointing, disheartening and ugly.
@ChelseaFC
, sort it out. Can't have people representing the fanbase and the club who act this way.
Chelsea have spent close to £320 million in two seasons and you'd think the fanbase has never seen a signing.
No doubt a midfielder/centre back is needed but the toxicity at the moment is baffling.
Chelsea were the better team against Man City, the better team against Arsenal, the better team against Spurs, and the better team against Liverpool.
It's a work in progress, but Poch is really building something impressive.
He may not have been some people’s first choice left back option this summer, but Frank wants him and that should be enough to warrant respect and support for this transfer.
Chilwell is a very good Premier League player who will only get better. Give him the chance he’s earned.
Sign Sterling and Koulibaly, give Reece James and Mason Mount new contracts, decide a three year plan for Broja and Gilmour, give Gallagher a shot.
Nice.
Chelsea bought Gary Cahill and Cesar Asplicueta for £7 million each.
Signing smart rather than always signing the biggest names can prove to be the best business. Outstanding talent acquisition creates club legends.
With each game that passes, it becomes clear that Rice is the final piece of the puzzle. Jorginho isn’t cutting it and Kante isn’t an outright DM.
Rice has what we need:
- Leadership
- Technically quality
- PL experience
- Existing chemistry
- Intelligence
- Good age profile
