I have accepted he’s here to stay but their reluctance to blame him at all is hypocritical - last season we would’ve had 3/4 hour spaces after tonight’s game demanding the manager gets sacked. He’s underperforming right now - the players aren’t fighting for him. They look like robots going through the motions with no desire to win football matches. It’s his job to man manage and motivate, he hasn’t been able to get them ready mentally and that’s on him. He’s also been poor tactically against Man City, West Ham and Brighton. Not to mention the poor run before that. Collectively the group is regressing and many individuals look like shadows of themselves.
