@TRobinsonNewEra I don't think they did it to protect the murderer, they were protecting themselves from any potential reaction from the public. No one in government has the balls to address the issue of radical Islam because they fear a backlash from certain communities & the far left do-gooders.

@ActionBrexit I worked for 55 years, paid a mortgage, raised 2 daughters, put them through university and retired to a beautiful sleepy coastal village. I find it morally repugnant that Liebour and Ms Raynor have the power to spoil my peaceful retirement and my girls' future. #VOTEREFORM2024.

@HarrisDebra21 He's over confident & drunk on power now but I think he will get his comeuppance before his term in office ends. I'm in my 70s, determined to live long enough to see him crash & burn. Stay proud to be British, true to our culture and think positive - sunshine follows a storm.

@GBNEWS I'm an idiot! Worked beyond retirement age & deferred state pension so I had a bit extra when I eventually retired (no private pension), so unable to claim any benefits & now they take the winter fuel payments off us. OH is 80yrs in Oct so he gets an extra 25 pence per week 🤬.

@gfkytd @darrengrimes_ So according to SM a 7month old was taken to hospital with injuries after falling out of a window(?), parents then discharged child against medical advice & you think it's not OK to remove children for their own safety while investigations are undertaken. No excuse for rioting!.

@tlloydjones Thankfully not watched their 'news' or woke-captured programmes for months. Hubby content to watch PMQs on YouTube catch up so have cancelled our licence today. Savings will be some recompense for losing WFA. I await their reminder letters -useful for lighting the log burner.

@darrengrimes_ Be thankful your mental anguish was just 5 hours long. The anguish for the families directly affected will last a lifetime. How do I know? Because my BIL walked out in front of an express train some years ago. Feelings of loss & guilt (not knowing his intentions) never go away.

@llggeorgia In the 1940s/50s, Harehills was a prestigious area of Leeds. My OH was born close to where the riots are happening. I worked at Jimmies in the 70s & lived in Harehills, it was already an area of high immigration by that time & has sadly declined to the state you're seeing now.

@MalHay @reformparty_uk Persuaded my sister to vote for Andy Smith (Beverley and Holderness). We're both lifelong conservative voters & Mr Stuart (Con) will probably retain his seat but it's vital to send the message that they can no longer simply 'count on our vote' as they have done in the past!.

@StellarCGaming @CilComLFC Sadly we swapped a lazy/do nothing government for an autocratic one. Less than 20% voted for Labour who have gone back on their pre-election pledges/manifesto. If only they had heeded warnings of those of us who lived through the 70s Winter of Discontent (disastrous Labour Govt).

@RupertLowe10 I knew exactly what and who I was voting for when I voted reform - it was to rid us of people like Reynolds telling us 'what we should know/think/adhere to'!.Reform is a blast of fresh air to replace the fetid, stagnant stink of the tories and labour.

@MentalMackem45 @DVATW Reform had my vote until this. Regardless of what you think of Tommy as a person, his approach/his tactics, he's managed to galvanise British people with his patriotism. Seems Reform are heading the same way as the as the rest of the useless MPs. UKIP will gain at Reforms loss.

@Jenny_1884 Not just matrons but ancilliary staff employed by the hospital rather than 'leased' from cleaning companies. I was a student nurse in early 70s, our domestics were fantastic. Very little cross infection. They were a great support for nursing staff.
