@JeromeAdamsMD I think our profession CHOOSES to always be โon serviceโ. I use the honorific when Iโm doing something related to medicine. Just like I used my military rank when it was appropriate and I was on AD. You can turn it off. And we probably should more often.

@m_jaywilliams The University of Michigan has a fantastic resource regarding post-op opioid prescriptions. Theyโre guidelines recommend <5 days of opioid (approx 20 pills) post-mastectomy. This typically works really well when combined with a regional Anesthetic and scheduled OTC analgesics.
