@Policecamz Context matters. Speeding 96 is reckless driving and is an arrest-able offense in most states. Cop stopped him, took him into custody and searched him. It was all perfectly legal.

@Jim_Jordan Liar! The Governor refuses to declared a federal disaster which the law requires before FEMA can be involved. The minute he does that federal assistance will begin. You are a fraud and a disgrace.

@CBSNews Doesn’t matter who started the fight. It’s about the police response. They arrive and the white kid is on top of the black kid hitting him. They pulled the white kind off, turned their back on him and then bounce on and handcuff the black kid who was offering no resistance. Why?.

@tcunderdahl @tedcruz Yes they used that guidance to enslave people and practice genocide against Native Americans. Excellent guidance.

@amyjc92 @RealHousewifeMi This wasn’t about having sex. It’s about who the person is attracted too. Most teens are developing relationships. That doesn’t mean they are all having sex or have to have sex to know they are attracted to someone.

@MuskUniversity We can’t feed, house, educate, or provide basic medical needs for the ones we have. The issue is way bigger than the amount land available or the eco-system.

@JazzDeeApple @CandiceBernd Georgia is not on demand or mandatory ID state. Unless you are the driver or police have probable cause to believe you are involved in a crime you are not legally required to provide ID.

@MuellerSheWrote He is the worse thing that every happened to the Republican Party in Georgia. There are no 1st/14th Amend protections against false swearing or Forgery. A lawyer telling you to go commit a crime is not a defense.

@mindykaling The “but what about” comments are just ignorant. Someone will always have something worse. Others better. Neither of those have anything to do with someone’s frustration or difficulty or their expressing it.Any one thing would be annoying. Combined they make for a frustrating day.

@meghanncuniff If you have to have medics on standby the witness shouldn’t be there. Putting his life at risk should be a bar complaint on the DA and a JQC complaint on the judge. This kind of foolishness only makes the jury mad.

@NBCNews Sadly the US Supreme Court has ruled in the past that the police have no Constitutional duty to protect you or enforce the law.A 1984 Civil Rights suit has a very high standard and intent issues this case probably can’t meet. The police failed her but not much recourse available.

@larabazelon No easy answer. After hearing the judge read aloud two death sentences and finish with may God have mercy on your soul I had to take leave after both cases. And I would say I am pretty indifferent most of the time.

@HuffPost Thomas said in his concurring opinion that the court should also reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. He left off Loving which allowed inter-racial marriage, even though it’s based on the same principles of the others.

@CristiniChris @agentselfNSA Except that even with the tariffs the imports are cheaper than the US made version. And importantly the raw materials need by American manufacturers will still be subject to tariffs driving the cost up further. Retaliatory tariffs will hurt Americans i.e. the soybean disaster.

@MuellerSheWrote Based on the comments. It’s a civil case filed by the Flynn’s. The request is part of the discovery process. The defendant (CNN) didn’t start the fight but has right to make the request to defend themselves.

@VoteGloriaJ For the “broke the rules crowd”, not everyone broke the rules and the reporters didn’t break the rules. It’s the people’s business and they have a right to be there. It is on the fast track to fascism.

@ABC Courts, not Sheriffs, decide the legality or constitutionality of any given law. While the SupCt has made clear they can’t be forced to enforce a law or make an arrest they can be removed from their jobs for failing to do so.

@gossipornews @cmclymer You should read the Declaration of Independence, the section with the grievances, and the Bill of Rights. The Burden of Proof is on the State. Reasonable Doubt is not a technicality. It is a founding principle in the American legal system.

@ElieNYC Just a reminder that people said the same thing about Falcon launch and landing failures and it is now the most successful rocket ever built. SpaceX is a success his politics aside. It was a successful launch. The primary goal of this test was to get off the ground.

@CAEZMEH @davenewworld_2 Standard protocol for any wreck with injuries. Some states even allow for a forced blood draw with serious injury or death. Because the effects of many drugs would not be readily apparent testing is standard in most agencies.

@Imposter_Edits Yes once asked to leave remaining is a trespass. Taking someone’s money and not giving them what they bought is theft. The employee should have refunded the order. The officer should have separated them and spoke to them one on one.

@YokoDelgado @moocowsue @CannConActual Winning in Georgia because even though GA has one of the most conservative judiciaries in the country the judges know he is right about the law. Law written by Republican law makers. No corruption.

@vinn_ayy Yes we have reached the point where we can’t share some positive in our life because someone else doesn’t have it too. There will always be someone who is worse off and better off than you. That doesn’t diminish or enhance your state in life. Live and let live.

@WallStreetSilv For a treaty to have the force of law it would have to be ratified by the Senate. Not enough votes. So while the President, any President, can commit to a treaty it has no meaning effect w/o ratification. If ratified it would be binding law and the states could not legally ignore.

@SinaiLawFirm @melissasavenko In Georgia if the lease is ending and the landlord gives non-renewal notice you will be out by yourself or with the help of the Marshals. It’s all about notice. You can’t force the landlord to renew the lease.

@Urtoez75_2 When my daughter was younger I went in with the GP. As she got older I only asked that a nurse be present with a male dr and the times she asked me to go in I always asked at the end if she wanted me to step out. OB exams are tough enough, no way I make it harder.

You need only open your eyes and see the Christian leaders, law enforcement, conservative politicians who are being arrested for child molestation. Your child is at much higher risk at church than at school with “pride” kids.

@BlvckLawStudent @PhilHollowayEsq Georgia is very limiting on Interlocutory Appeals and the State has very few things for which they can file one. Such a delay by the State at this point could result in a mistrial and arguably a plea in bar to future retrial.

@MuellerSheWrote He can’t testify and then take the 5th on cross. He would have to disclose outside the jury’s presence he plans too before testifying. Then he can’t testify. If he did in trial it would be a mistrial and he could be jailed for contempt.

@MuellerSheWrote A lawyer cannot represent more than one party in a case if representing one is detrimental to the other. If one client is offered immunity to testify against the other the same attorney cannot represent both. It’s a disbarable offense here in GA. And lying to the court!.
