So impressed by ++Cupich. As the Holy Father says, “Who am I to judge?” Our church’s shepherds are properly pastors, as the etymology of the word demands. Never judges. The Gospels deplore self-righteous Pharisees and preening judges.

Pope Francis is far better in addressing abuse than his predecessors. These numbers are being driven by a conservative faction that has organized a campaign against His Holiness.
