These Olympic trials are a big reason why I'm going into sports Psychology. The mental wear and tear any athlete goes thru is just as detrimental as the physical. You heard in the interviews, saw it in their faces: mental health IS IMPORTANT cuz that mental strain IS REAL.

DI East and West Preliminary rounds from a 3-day meet to a 4-day meet was approved effective for the spring of 2022.
The schedule format will mimic that of the final site with men competing Wed./Fri. and women competing Thurs./Sat.

HS runners don't need maxflys.
Majority of kids don't have great form, majority of kids don't produce that much power to the ground. Most kids don't even get the right spikes for their SPECIFIC running events and foot shape. A super shoe is not going to make you run faster.

Exactly. Trust me, i totally get your point. There are SOME athlete that do act spoiled out there. Most of us just grind from sun up to sun down and most think that we get a lot of support, when in reality most of us dont, so I definitely appreciate your point of view ✊

I can see that, so get where your coming from. Now, we do tend to receive a lot of different stuff, such as our gear and things. Thing is, however, is the workload we have to carry in order to get the things that we have outweighs the actual gear itself.

In other words, the amount of training, lifting, traveling, AND still having to add in time to study, eat and attend classes is very strenuous. It takes a lot of work just to get the shirts on our back, to be quite sincere.
