Total nerd for video games (especially Nintendo) & animation. Try to be as open-minded as I can, & don't like fights/arguments, but get into them anyway. he/him
Screw it, I've been dragging my feet on this, but I'm just gonna go ahead and list all the "Wario-Likes" currently out there or in development!

This is incredibly frustrating, not only did Bill Hader & Mindy Kaling help make Fear & Disgust the memorable characters they were, but if they were going to introduce new emotions as Riley grew older, they shouldn't have shown adults and teenagers with only the five emotions.
@CrystalGemsOOC
This episode really hurt to watch. There are hints that Greg's childhood was far worse than Steven thinks, but at the same time, Greg's desire to NOT follow in his parents footsteps resulted in a lack of structure for Steven's life, which had it's own negative consequences.
@OOCCouchGags
I remember Lisa saying that Elon was "possibly the greatest living inventor!" Yeah, "possibly" is doing a lot of heavy-lifting in that sentence, Lisa.
@OOCCouchGags
Why wasn't Sam in the episode? He was the other half of "those two guys in Moe's Tavern". Also, where's Barney? I wish the show would use Barney more, I miss him.
@MinnMaxShow
It sucks that a lot of Brian Tyler's amazing compositions where replaced by licensed songs for basically no other reason than it's what Illumination does. I'm so relieved that the Super Star theme remained in the climax!
@BrownBirdTown
I've found that "Autism Speaks" feels more like it's for people related to those with Autism than about the Autistic people themselves, and how they can "deal with the Autism", which feels more than a little insulting, and that's not even getting into finding a "cure" for Autism.
@NonsenseIsland
The transformation looks really off in the remake, because the CGI is just that bad. Also, the kids drink root beer now instead of regular beer, which kind of defeats the whole point behind Pleasure Island.

I am 100% about widening ideas for a sequel, I just felt they were preemptively shooting themselves in the foot for potential sequels by showing us what it's like inside other people's heads. It's just a little annoying to me, that's all.
@whipplefingers
An "antagonist" doesn't mean being evil or even all that mean, it means being against the "protagonist", and I'm guessing this guy is generally against the antics of Fanboy and Chum Chum.
@ThePipePlaza
I like how Nintendo explicitly stated multiple times that the Super Crown only works on Toadette, but it didn't stop people from creating Bowsette. :P
@sandman_AP
I definitely recall a lot of people, even into Enies Lobby, holding out that Paulie would join. I think of all the characters introduced in Water 7, Kaku being part of CP9 was the biggest shock overall.
@supermariomovie
I like how there are people are giving Seth crap for saying the DK Rap is "objectively one of the worst raps songs", when that was clearly meant to be the whole joke behind the DK Rap.
@NintendoAmerica
Games that should be there already:

Fun fact: this is actually a direct quote from The Wizard of Oz, specifically the Scarecrow after the Wizard gives him a diploma, to show that he doesn't need "brains" to be smart.
@Nintendo
HOLY CRAP, THE OFFICIAL JAPANESE NINTENDO ACCOUNT IS ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT FOREMAN SPIKE! Or "Blacky" as he's called in Japan... or used to be called, I guess, since they're just going to call him Spike in Japan now.
@TheCartoonBase
If you ask me, it feels like some critics didn't so much take issue with the movie's story or writing, but were more annoyed that this was a video game movie that wasn't ashamed of being a video game movie and reveled in all the references from the games.
But that's just me.
@CCNCartoonNews
Saying they did "the opposite of what we did on Teen Titans" is rather telling with regards to how they feel about Teen Titans as a whole.
@JosNamesnotJo2
Wario WAS a villain, once, where he was motivated by jealousy & envy over Mario & his castle. Wario just acts generically evil in Subspace Emissary with no hint of his normal characterization. I get the feeling Sakurai just used him because he didn't have enough playable villains
@HannaBarberaCap
S is for Snake
Z is for... Zoo? Zebra (doesn't have stripes)? Not sure about that one...
W is for Wrestling
Q is for Quarrel (with whatever that thing is)
R is for... 😬
@OOCCouchGags
You know, it's easy to criticize modern Simpsons whenever they do these winking references to their older episodes, but my goodness, this is like a continuity cavalcade!
@playcenterwd
I mean, Soos isn't always dumb, and at least he acknowledges his shortcomings and tries to make up for it, unlike most of the other guys here...
Though Uncle Grandpa, for how dumb he is, often makes thing work out somehow. I guess that's just how that show works.
@RiseFallNickBck
I'll always find it fascinating how 4Kids deciding that the mom just leaving her kids to fend for themselves after their dad left was so sad, they decided to just kill her of instead.
It is officially July 9th where I am, which means it's the 40th anniversary of the original arcade
#DonkeyKong
! It also means it the 40th anniversary of Mario and Pauline's debut too, but I'm shouting out Donkey Kong for being oddly underrated in many respects.

They don't pee. They don't need to perform any bodily functions, given that they don't need to eat, drink, or sleep either.
@HannaBarberaCap
I think Dexter only said the whole "You are stupid" thing once in the entire series, and this kid practically made it his catchphrase.
@misterduby
I'm not surprised in the slightest, because there has been a MASSIVE push-back against female empowerment in recent years, particularly starting around the time of GamerGate.
@sandman_AP
"Vivi was introduced as an agent of Baroque Works, but I had no idea of her setup more than that."
That would explain various subtle differences in her appearance, like her slightly more evil-looking eyes when she's Miss Wednesday.
@HannaBarberaCap
@PoorlyAgedStuff
Especially poorly aged because the Ninja Turtles find a way to live on almost every generation whereas these characters struggle to stay relevant (other than Fred, who at least has Post Pebbles cereal).
@HannaBarberaCap
I love the moments of levity in this otherwise tense scene, like Wirt going "that's dumb" to the Beast's offer, or him botching up his badass one-liner by having his voice crack.
@thatdaffyduck
The fact that they're jerks to each other as opposed to being "nice" was kind of the point. The people making the cartoon (and Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers for that matter) didn't care for how Warner Bros. was handling these characters and took literal shots at WB like this.
@HannaBarberaCap
Surreal episode, still can't get over the kids eating a race of sentient vegetable people, while they're still alive. (yeah, they were evil, but still)
@ImAWarCrimina
@NonsenseIsland
The point is that Pleasure Island indulges in vices that kids shouldn't be doing, not just smoking and drinking, but beating each other up and destroying stuff. Doing this stuff on Pleasure Island is what turns them into donkeys.
@RAGGERTS
I'm not sure if that guy actually means what he says, he seems to just deliberately be provoking people with this Tweet... and promoting a good cause while doing so, oddly enough:
@TheNCSmaster
Now I just made myself upset, reminding me of how the second Wreck-It Ralph movie completely threw away all the cool and interesting "what does it mean to be a video game character aware of their status" concepts in favor of dated internet jokes and character regression.
@PrimatePunk
@FierceTheBandit
Fun Fact: Bug's original voice actor, Mel Blenc, HATED carrots, but wanted authenticity with his performance, so he chewed an actual carrot into the mic to get Bugs's signature carrot-munching before spitting it out.
@StarPunch_
I do like there are varying artstyles in Arzette, no doubt a deliberate reference to how inconsistent the animation was in the first two CD-i Zelda games.
