@rodmagno1 @spumdonor Oh, I agree. I'm not saying the Lantz cartoons are just as good as the classic WB or Disney shorts - they're not - but I still think people would enjoy them and have fond memories of them.

Released 100 years ago: THE LOST WORLD (1925), the first live-action movie to make extensive use of animated effects and the forerunner of special effects blockbusters of today. The animation is by Willis O'Brien, who later animated King Kong.

There's so much incredible stuff in there, I'm trying to absorb all of it. Unrealized projects, tantalizing stories, in-jokes... even the results of ball games between studios! My favorite team name: the Porky Pig Ping-Pongsters.
