@tomhuntio I wonder why someone decided an employment gap is such a big deal. Maybe someone wants to take a couple of years at 30 and sit by the pool. Why does that make them a bad worker?.

@bennyjohnson @elonmusk I don't know. Maybe prosecute for funding research that lead to the early death of millions of people after Obama told him not to.

@collin_ruth89 If you both fully embrace marriage, becoming one where you both do what is best for the union then family, the treasure generated will far exceed anything you enter with. If you don't and maintain a "mine" and "hers" attitude, there's no reason to be married.

@FeminaStudiosa Imagine having kids from 19 to 25 when you have lots of energy, then being empty nesters, free to travel, go out, etc. by the time you're 45. Doesn't sound terrible.

@TPP_MD Amazing what you guys go through. My son is becoming a therapist. I worry about him because I know he will eventually lose some. Don't know how he will be effected. Keep telling him to focus on those he saves.

@JackPosobiec Conservatives believe the government can't manage your money well but can manage your life. Liberals believe the government can't manage your life well but can manage your money. Libertarians believe government can manage nothing well. What makes the most sense?.

@BBC_dip Realize Donald Trump had nothing to gain and everything to lose. Basically everything you've seen thrown at him and the lies about his supporters is because the establishment Rs and Ds + the deep state bureaucrats don't want him to clean things up. News media is in on it.

@GuyTalksFinance @Richard_WEF I've found that knowing how to change your oil is good to know, but not much of a $ saver since they practically do it at a loss. You spend an hour, spill oil. Learning to change things like an alternator, starter, etc. would be a bigger savings. And of course, light bulbs.

@MarkMcGrathCFP I've never understood the attraction of rentals. Returns are less than stocks. There are random expenses and dealing with people. I think the leverage is the secret. Maybe the answer is to pay off your mortgage slow and invest in stocks for leverage.

@WeddingVenueGuy It was solved 50,000 years ago. One of you goes out and hunts, the other stays in the cave. It works so much better than other systems.

@nytopinion @donnabrazile Liberals: We need to recruit people based on their sex and skin color. Also liberals: Why do folks think these people got their jobs because of their sex and skin color.

@GuyTalksFinance Totally disagree on Texas Roadhouse. Great food, fantastic rolls, great time. They are the example restaurant of our time. The lines out the door in every location say you're wrong as well.

@DannerFoundati1 @TimRunsHisMouth People are missing the real point: officials should never let it get to this point where people are blocking the road in a protest. They should be cleared and arrested immediately, using the nat guard if needed, and prosecuted with a min $10,000 fine and week in jail.

@LandlordRev Except people making $10 per hour are now making $18 per hour. And that's not just his employees, but everyone's employees he buys stuff from. If he's overcharging, you should be able to find cheaper. If not, it just means dollars aren't worth as much.

@Invested_In_You Cooking at home saves you tons of money. I can make great meals for my family at 10% of the cost of a restaurant. And as far as time goes, you still have to drive to the restaurant, wait to get in, wait for them to cook, then drive home. Not much of a time savings if any.

@vexedinthecity @DC_Draino The FBI and news agencies immediately conducting full, open investigations of all significant allegations of fraud rather than just saying there was nothing to see would have done a world of good for trust in elections. Just saying.

@tyromper Through the 1980s, 90s, and early 2000s there was a huge aerospace engineering conference in Reno at the Reno Hilton. I think the hotel hated us because very few of the engineers would gamble, knowing the odds.

@WeddingVenueGuy And splitting responsibilities rather than duplicating is still the best plan. "Fulltime parenting is so 1950s. We're all modern now.". "Childcare is so expensive when we both work. It should be free.". "I can't work because my kids get sick. Someone should enable my choices.".

@jwcreighton3 @mehdirhasan Conservatives don't care about a Supreme Court nominee's skin color or sex. They want people who will read and apply the Constitution and not make up laws. That's what makes a "good nominee.". Clarence Thomas has been one of the best picks. John Roberts a poor one.

@KateCulliton @kdnerak33 I'm paying for the public school. The public school is failing in every way, including student safety. Why shouldn't I be able to send my kid to a private school instead with the money I'm paying? It's my money.

@Codie_Sanchez Sounds like a great idea and I have thought of starting a campground as a retirement gig, but could see issues. It seems like you could see a big suit from wildfires, rapes, robberies, etc. if you went without a manager. I also think the trash left, vandalism, could be taxing.

@PinkProfit Picture it this way: You're climbing a cliff. One of you can get way farther if the other holds the ropes and supports him/her than you can both climbing. But the one helping needs to know he/she won't be left on the ledge. Working together with huge trust is the superpower.

@AdamShurey @MegEBrock @DaunenJ In 5 years these kids will be the ones in all the service jobs. In 15 they'll be the bulk of the workforce. If they can't go into a restaurant without smashing things up, it doesn't portend well for our future.

@TheOGAllison @LenSchulzeSD If you'd worked 30 years with no vacations to build a restaurant up, then were forced to close 10 years from retirement and lost it all, would you "dig in your heals?" Or would you just go "OH, ok," when someone said, "Oh, my bad." Not enough to be sorry. Send money.

@RachelNotley No, public healthcare means always needing to pay whether you see the doctor or not. It also means paying far more than others if you make more. It also means doctors may not be available when you need them, and lower quality doctors.

@catturd2 A president can declassified at will. There were no classified docs at Mar-a-lago. Now, Hillary, Pence, and Biden were breaking the law. Also committed felonies by letting their lawyers handle the docs. Where's the investigation?.

@Investmentkage So, the info regurgitated online is from Millionaire Next Door. It wouldn't be there without the book. It's like you read A Christmas Carol then complain that it's not very good because you've seen every TV show do versions of the same story already.
