my funniest dev mess up:
I was building an app for a huge national hotel chain. it was the really early days of iOS dev like 2008/09ish and they wanted a button to tap to launch the phone and call their 800 number nbd I was working crazy hours and didn't test my app properly
lol Apple has been messing up a bunch this week from disabling my Apple ID to now this. Ordered the developer strap for the Vision Pro and they sent me 4 iPad minis?
its wild not giving your devs admin privileges to their company laptops. if you can't trust your programmers with admin privileges how can you trust them to build your apps?
@SawyerMerritt
I tried to put 1 yard of topsoil in my f150 and it blew out my shocks. i feel like f150's are just commuter cars for 80% of the people that buy them. this is what a real work truck looks like
I’m self employed and Insurance for my family of 6 going from $1400 a month to $1899.98! This is the cheapest shitty plan available and it doesn’t cover anything. Family didn’t go to the dr once this year. Insurance is such a scam.
lol what have I gotten myself into! I applied for a back end position at one of my dream job companies and have been a mobile dev for the last 14 years. Excited for the interview. Going to do it in swift the native language of my people

Official Department of Transportation protocol calls for compensation of 400% of one-way fare (up to $1,350) for passengers who experience an arrival delay over two hours when bumped off a flight.

@TheJackForge
Yo, just a heads-up, no cap – totally forgot to file that TPS report. Looks like we're gonna have to grind this weekend, fam. I know, it's sus, but gotta hustle to get it done.
Update. I did the leet code interview. Did pretty good and solved the question using swift in about 30 min. Their team was awesome. I appreciate them giving me a shot.

My whole life i've only ever traded time for money. My dad started having me do electrical work when I was 12 and I was a licensed journeyman at 21.
Pivoted to software at 22 and always have worked for other people building their apps for the last 15 years. I feel like my one
My wife is really good at gardening and we are starting a flower side biz. Did you know peonies sell wholesale for ~$6 a stem. We order 600 roots and in 3-4 years each plant will hopefully produce 20ish stems per plant per year! That is a potential 70k ish extra income!
