Yeah you guessed it, I'm done with The Escapist. I've been able to do what I've dreamed about since childhood because Nick gave me a shot. Pay attention to what comes next cause I'm not done yet.
I was fired from The Escapist today.
I have declined my severance pay and will not be signing an NDA.
I'm incredibly proud of everything my team and I achieved over the last four years, and the community that we built together.
Figuring out next steps now and moving forward.

A platform based on user-generated experiences specifically marketed to kids is bound to be a moderation nightmare - but I'm pretty shocked that they not only haven't fixed this, they've made it *worse* by approving additional role-play games for the youngest age rating.

Stray looked cute, but it didn't really look like something I needed to experience. Now that it was voted best indie over Tunic and Sifu, two games I adored, I think I have to play it if only to know for sure that they were robbed. I'd love to be proven wrong.
