Whether through direct fare hikes or new taxes and cess, one way or the other, the money will be taken. You subsidize/freebie one activity, the pinch will happen somewhere else.
BMRCL’s fare hike is an unfair burden on Bengaluru’s commuters, forcing many toward private vehicles and worsening congestion. What justifies this steep increase? Public transport must be affordable. BMRCL must ensure transparency; publish the Fare Fixation Committee report. BMRCL must introduce monthly, quarterly, and annual passes to reduce commuters' financial burden. This will promote public transport use, reward loyalty with discounts, and provide BMRCL with low-cost working capital. Weekend ridership will increase, boosting overall patronage. BMRCL must prioritize the needs of the citizens and create an equitable, accessible, and sustainable transport system for all.

Had similar experience on the flyover from the Ragigudda temple to HSR. Multiple bikes flashing lights and speeding in the opposite direction. Point to note: there were copes on either side of the flyover.
Who in their right mind would drive on the wrong side of a double-decker flyover? That's pure insanity!

A subset of licences needed to open a retail store in BLR There are more if you need to do something specific (like give ad space in your store) You need to go to the BBMP offices for all I believe Ease of doing business 😅

Don’t need to be a journalist to understand this. Countries adopting stricter immigration methods will deport illegal immigrants in the way they want. The host country of illegal immigrants should not/cannot have a say in this.
Now imagine if this had happened during the Manmohan Singh regime. The tv media and social media nationalists would have been baying for his blood
